THE MYSTERY OF JESUS IN THE EUCHARIST

 Divine Appeal Reflection - 175

Today, consider in Divine Appeal 175: "I am in agony and I pour My tears of blood as I see souls turning to perdition. In the Divine Sacrament I am very present. The Angels in heaven are astonished at My great love which makes Me abide on earth with mankind under the appearance of bread."

The presence of Jesus in the Eucharist is a profound mystery; even the angels marvel at it. Our Adorable Jesus, the King of Glory, humbles Himself to dwell among us under the appearance of bread so that the depth of His love and desire to be with mankind may be made manifest. This great act of love is an invitation to all humanity—a call to return to Him, to recognize His abiding presence, and to console His Sacred Heart, wounded by our indifference, ingratitude, and sin. His Eucharistic presence is a constant reminder that His love knows no bounds and that He longs for every soul to come to Him.

The agony of our Adorable Jesus is not just a distant memory from Gethsemane but continues today in the Blessed Sacrament. His Sacred Heart aches as He beholds souls turning away from Him toward perdition. Like the shepherd in the parable of the lost sheep, Jesus relentlessly seeks out the lost, desiring their return to His fold (cf. Luke 15:4-7). Yet, when souls resist His love and choose sin, His Heart bleeds with sorrow. Each soul is infinitely precious to Him, and every act of indifference or rejection wounds His love anew.

The Angels in heaven, who adore Him ceaselessly, are astonished by this mystery of divine humility. They behold the Almighty concealed in the simplicity of bread and wine, amazed at the depth of His love for mankind . In response to this Divine Appeal, we are called to consolation and reparation. This heavenly marvel should inspire us to deeper reverence and adoration for our Adorable Jesus in the Eucharist. He is not a mere symbol but truly present—Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity—waiting for us to draw near and receive His infinite love. Let us console the Sacred Heart of our Adorable Jesus and commit ourselves to spreading the truth of His real presence, leading others to adore Him and receive His boundless mercy.

Prayer

Our Adorable Jesus, truly present in the Blessed Sacrament, we adore You and thank You for dwelling among us. Forgive our neglect and draw us closer to Your love. Help us console You through prayer, sacrifice, and devotion, bringing lost souls back to Your mercy and light

Sr. Anna Ali of the Most Holy Eucharist, intercede for us.
