HOLY MASS READINGS FOR NOVEMBER 1, 2024

Friday of the Thirtieth Week in Ordinary Time   (White)

Solemnity of All Saints

LH: Office of the Solemnity

Mass of the Solemnity, Gloria, Creed, Preface of All Saints

FIRST READING
I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no man could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and tongues.
A reading from the Book of Revelation (Revelation 7:2-4, 9-14)

I, John, saw another angel ascend from the rising of the sun, with the seal of the living God, and he called with a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm earth and sea, saying, “Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God upon their foreheads.” And I heard the number of the sealed, a hundred and forty-four thousand sealed, out of every tribe of the sons of Israel. After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no man could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits upon the throne, and to the Lamb!” And all the angels stood round the throne and round the elders and the four living creatures, and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshipped God, saying, “Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honour and power and might be to our God for ever and ever! Amen.” Then one of the elders addressed me, saying, “Who are these, clothed in white robes, and from where they have come?” I said to him, “Sir, you know.” And he said to me, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
Psalm 24:1-2, 3-4ab, 5-6(R.cf. 6a)

R/. These are the people who seek your face, O Lord.

The Lord’s is the earth and its fullness,
the world, and all who dwell in it.
It is he who set it on the seas;
on the rivers he made it firm. R/.

Who shall climb the mountain of the Lord?
Who shall stand in his holy place?
The clean of hands and pure of heart,
whose soul is not set on vain things. R/.

Blessings from the Lord shall he receive,
and right reward from the God who saves him.
Such are the people who seek him,
who seek the face of the God of Jacob. R/.

SECOND READING
We shall see God as he is.
A reading from the first Letter of Saint John (1 John 3:1 -3)

Beloved: See what love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Beloved, we are God’s children now; it does not yet appear what we shall be, but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. And every one who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure.

The word of the Lord.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
Matthew 11:28

Alleluia.

Come to me, all who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest, says the Lord.

Alleluia.

GOSPEL
Rejoice and be glad, for your reward will be great in heaven.
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Matthew (Matthew 5:1-12a)

At that time: Seeing the crowds, Jesus went up on the mountain, and when he sat down his disciples came to him. And he opened his mouth and taught them, saying: Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied. Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when men revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven.

HOLY MASS READINGS FOR OCTOBER 31, 2024

Thursday of  the Thirtieth Week in Ordinary Weekday  (Green)

LH: Office of the Day, Week II

Mass and Preface of the day

FIRST READING
“Take the whole armour of God, that you may be able, having done all, to stand. ”
A reading from the Letter of Saint Paul to the Ephesians (Ephesians 6: 10-20)

Finally, brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we are not contending against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take the whole armour of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having fastened the belt of truth around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the equipment of the gospel of peace; above all taking the shield of faith, with which you can quench all the flaming darts of the Evil One. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Pray at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, and also for me, that utterance may be given me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains; that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak.

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
Psalm 144: 1.2.9-10 (R. 1 a)

R/. Blest be the Lord, my rock.

Blest be the Lord, my rock,
who trains my hands for battle,
who prepares my fingers for war. R/.

He is my merciful love, my fortress;
he is my stronghold, my saviour,
my shield in whom I take refuge.
He brings peoples under my rule. R/.

To you, O God, will I sing a new song;
I will play on the ten-stringed harp to you
who give kings their victory,
who set David your servant free from the evil sword. R/.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
Luke 19:38; 2: 14

Alleluia.

Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord; peace on earth, and glory in the highest.

Alleluia.

GOSPEL
“It cannot be that a prophet should perish away from Jerusalem. ”
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke (Luke 13:31-35)

On that day some Pharisees came, and said to Jesus, “Get away from here, for Herod wants to kill you.” And he said to them, “Go and tell that fox, ‘Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I finish my course. Nevertheless I must go on my way today and tomorrow and the day following; for it cannot be that a prophet should perish away from Jerusalem. ’ O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, killing the prophets and stoning those who are sent to you! How often would I have gathered your children together as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you would not! Behold, your house is forsaken. And I tell you, you will not see me until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! ”’

GUARDING AGAINST EVIL

Divine Appeal Reflection - 137

Today, consider in Divine Appeal 137: "The devil is in all ways wounding you. Do not allow yourself to be in his possession."

Reflecting on Jesus’ warning, “The devil is in all ways wounding you,” we are made aware of the relentless and all-encompassing nature of spiritual warfare. The adversary uses every possible tactic to harm our souls, erode our determination, and divert us from God's love and truth. Our Adorable Jesus demonstrates that the devil's attacks are not sporadic but rather ongoing. This expression emphasizes the devil's subtle yet ubiquitous influence, which aims to permeate every part of our existence and create doubt, fear, and uncertainty.

This warning aligns with the Church’s teaching on the reality of evil and the devil’s unceasing efforts to separate souls from God (CCC 407). These wounds can manifest as inner struggles, anxieties, and temptations that seem overwhelming—all aimed at eroding our trust in God. Through such ongoing attacks, the devil attempts to drive a wedge between us and the peace and grace that can only be found in a deep, committed relationship with Christ.

Our Adorable Jesus invites us through His words to strengthen our spiritual defenses, reminding us that, although the devil’s attempts are relentless, God’s grace is infinitely more powerful. We are called to remain vigilant, arming ourselves through prayer and the sacraments. St. Paul speaks of the need to “put on the whole armor of God” so that we may stand firm against spiritual assaults (Ephesians 6:11), fortifying our souls against each subtle or overt wound the devil seeks to inflict.

In hearing Jesus’ appeal, “The devil is in all ways wounding you,” we are encouraged to take seriously the call to a life of spiritual discipline, relying wholly on God’s grace and protection. Through prayer, frequent confession, and devotion to the Eucharist, we draw from the strength of our Adorable Jesus to face every attack. With Christ as our shield and our refuge, we can stand unshaken, trusting in His promise to protect, heal, and guide us on the path to holiness.

Prayer

Our Adorable Jesus, we seek refuge in Your Sacred Heart. Protect us from the devil’s wounds, strengthen our resolve, and fill us with Your grace. Grant us vigilance in prayer and devotion to the Eucharist, that we may stand firm against all evil, trusting in Your unfailing love.

Sr. Anna Ali of the Most Holy Eucharist, intercede for us.

DIVINE APPEAL 137

ON THE EUCHARIST:A DIVINE APPEAL

(Revelation to Sr Anna Ali of the Most Holy Eucharist)

VOLUME 1

“As I am exposed, I will pour the treasures of My infinite MERCY
into human souls.”

“My daughter, come with Me. The devil is in all ways wounding you.
Do not allow yourself to be in his possession. Listen to Me. I lead and
direct you.

When you pray for souls nothing is lost. You cannot see it but I see
it. Watch with Me in the Sacrament of My Love. I am very thirsty.
Hunt souls for Me. My thirst is more than the thirst of mankind. Pray
a great deal. Time is short for saving souls. I do not wish anyone to
perish. When a soul goes to perdition it is eternally lost.

In the Sacrament of My Love, I need the desire of reparation from
the souls of good will. As I am exposed I will pour the treasures of
My infinite mercy into human souls. I am forced to walk in the midst
of the milling crowds with My tears of blood. I am a prisoner of My
tabernacle. I feel a stranger to the souls I love so much. Pray and
atone to appease the wrath of My Eternal Father.

Mankind has lost its senses. From My Divine Mercy I give My
warnings which will be followed by Divine Justice.”

“I bless you.”

HOLY MASS READINGS FOR OCTOBER 30, 2024

Wednesday of  the Thirtieth Week in Ordinary Weekday  (Green)

LH: Office of the Day, Week II

Mass and Preface of the day

FIRST READING
“Not as men-pleasers, but as servants of Christ.”
A reading from the Letter of Saint Paul to the Ephesians (Ephesians 6:1-9)

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. “Honour your father and mother” (this is the first commandment with a promise), “that it may be well with you and that you may live long on the earth.” Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. Slaves, be obedient to those who are your earthly masters, with fear and trembling, in singleness of heart, as to Christ; not in the way of eye-service, as men-pleasers, but as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, rendering service with a good will as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that whatever good any one does, he will receive the same again from the Lord, whether he is a slave or free. Masters, do the same to them, and forbear threatening, knowing that he who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and that there is no partiality with him.

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
Ps 145: 10- 11.12-13ab.13cd-14 (R. 13c)

R/. The Lord is faithful in all his words.

All your works shall thank you, O Lord,
and all your faithful ones bless you.
They shall speak of the glory of your reign,
and declare your mighty deeds. R/.

They shall make known your might to the children of men,
and the glorious splendour of your reign.
Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom;
your rule endures for all generations. R/.

The Lord is faithful in all his words,
and holy in all his deeds.
The Lord supports all who fall,
and raises up all who are bowed down. R/.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
2 Thessalonians 2: 14

Alleluia.

God has called us through the Gospel, to obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Alleluia.

GOSPEL
“Men will come from east and west, and sit at table in the kingdom of God.”
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke (Luke 13:22-30)

At that time: Jesus went on his way through towns and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem. And some one said to him, “Lord, will those who are saved be few?” And he said to them, “Strive to enter by the narrow door; for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able. When once the householder has risen up and shut the door, you will begin to stand outside and to knock at the door, saying, ‘Lord, open to us. ’ “He will answer you, ‘I do not know where you come from.’ “Then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in your presence, and you taught in our streets. ’“But he will say, ‘I tell you, I do not know where you come from; depart from me, all you workers of iniquity!’ There you will weep and gnash your teeth, when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God and you yourselves thrust out. And men will come from east and west, and from north and south, and sit at table in the kingdom of God. And behold, some are last who will be first, and some are first who will be last.”

HOLY MASS READINGS FOR OCTOBER 29, 2024

Tuesday of  the Thirtieth Week in Ordinary Weekday  (Green)

LH: Office of the Day, Week II

Mass and Preface of the day

FIRST READING
“This is a great mystery, and I mean in reference to Christ and the Church.”
A reading from the Letter of Saint Paul to the Ephesians (Ephesians5:21-33)

Brethren: Be subject to one another out of reverence for Christ. Wives, be subject to your husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the Church, his body, and is himself its Saviour. As the Church is subject to Christ, so let wives also be subject in everything to their husbands. Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the Church and gave himself up for her, that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the Church to himself in splendour, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish. Even so husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. For no man ever hates his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, as Christ does the Church, because we are members of his body. “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” This is a great mystery, and I mean in reference to Christ and the Church; however, let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM

Psalm128:1-2.3.4.5 (R. 1a)

R/. Blessed are all who fear the Lord.

Blessed are all who fear the Lord
And walk in his way!
By the labour of your hands you shall eat.
You will be blessed and prosper. R/.

Your wife like a fruitful vine
in the heart of your house;
your children like shoots of the olive
around your table. R/.

Indeed thus shall be blessed
the man who fears the Lord.
May the Lord bless you from Sion.
May you see Jerusalem prosper
all the days of your life! R/.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
Matthew 11:25

Alleluia.

Blessed are you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have revealed to little ones the mysteries of the kingdom.

Alleluia.

GOSPEL
“The seed grew and became a tree. ”
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke (Luke 13: 15-21)

At that time: Jesus said, “What is the kingdom of God like? And to what shall I compare it? It is like a grain of mustard seed which a man took and sowed in his garden; and it grew and became a tree, and the birds of the air made nests in its branches.” And again he said, “To what shall I compare the kingdom of God? It is like leaven which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till it was all leavened.”

He chose from them twelve, whom he named apostles.
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke (Luke 6:12-19)

In these days Jesus went out into the hills to pray; and all night he continued in prayer to God. And when it was day, he called his disciples, and chose from them twelve, whom he named apostles; Simon, whom he named Peter, and Andrew his brother, and James and John, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon who was called the Zealot, and Judas the son of James, and Judas Iscariot, who became a traitor. And he came down with them and stood on a level place, with a great crowd of his disciples and a great multitude of people from all Judea and Jerusalem and the seacoast of Tyre and Sidon, who came to hear him and to be healed of their diseases; and those who were troubled with unclean spirits were cured. And all the crowd sought to touch him, for power came forth from him and healed them all.

HOLY MASS READINGS FOR OCTOBER 27, 2024

Thirtieth Sunday in Ordinary Time, Year B   (Green)

Mass of the Thirtieth Sunday in Ordinary Time

LH: Office of the Thirtieth Sunday, Week II

Gloria, Creed, Preface of Sundays in Ordinary Time

FIRST READING
“With consolations I will lead them back, among them the blind and the lame.”
A reading from the Book of Jeremiah (Jeremiah 31:7-9)

Thus says the Lord: “Sing aloud with gladness for Jacob, and raise shouts for the chief of the nations; proclaim, give praise, and say, ‘The Lord has saved his people, the remnant of Israel.’ Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the farthest parts of the earth, among them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her who is in travail, together; a great company, they shall return here. With weeping they shall come, and with consolations I will lead them back, I will make them walk by brooks of water, in a straight path in which they shall not stumble; for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my first-born.”

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
Psalm 126:1-2ab.2cd-3.4-5.6 (R. 3)

R/. What great deeds the Lord worked for us! Indeed, we were glad.

When the Lord brought back the exiles of Sion,
we thought we were dreaming.
Then was our mouth filled with laughter;
on our tongues, songs of joy. R/.

Then the nations themselves said, “What great deeds
the Lord worked for them!”
What great deeds the Lord worked for us!
Indeed, we were glad. R/.

Bring back our exiles, O Lord,
as streams in the south.
Those who are sowing in tears
will sing when they reap. R/.

They go out, they go out, full of tears,
bearing seed for the sowing;
they come back, they come back with a song,
bearing their sheaves. R/.

SECOND READING
“You are a priest for ever according to the order of Melchizedek.”
A reading from the Letter to the Hebrews (Hebrews 5: 1-6)

Every high priest chosen from among men is appointed to act on behalf of men in relation to God, to offer gifts and sacrifices for sins. He can deal gently with the ignorant and wayward, since he himself is beset with weakness. Because of this he is bound to offer sacrifice for his own sins as well as for those of the people. And one does not take the honour upon himself, but he is ‘called by God, just as Aaron was. So also Christ did not exalt himself to be made a high priest, but was appointed by him who said to him, “You are my Son, today I have begotten you”; as he says also in another place, “You are a priest for ever, according to the order of Melchizedek.”

The word of the Lord.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
2 Timothy 1:10

Alleluia.

Our Saviour Christ Jesus abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel.

Alleluia.

GOSPEL
“Master let me receive my sight.”
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Mark (Mark 10:46-52)

At that time: As Jesus was leaving Jericho with his disciples and a great multitude, Bartimaeus, a blind beggar, the son of Timaeus, was sitting by the roadside. And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” And many rebuked him, telling him to be silent; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” And Jesus stopped and said, “Call him.” And they called the blind man, saying to him, “Take heart; rise, he is calling you.” And throwing off his cloak he sprang up and came to Jesus. And Jesus said to him, “What do you want me to do for you?” And the blind man said to him, “Master, let me receive my sight.” And Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he received his sight and followed him on the way.

HOLY MASS READINGS FOR OCTOBER 26, 2024

Saturday of the Twenty Ninth Week in Ordinary Weekday (Green)

Optional Memorial of the Blessed Virgin Mary   (White)

LH: Office of the Day or of the Memorial, Week I

Morning Mass and Preface of the day or of the Memorial

FIRST READING
Christ is the head from whom the whole body is joined and knit together.
A reading from the Letter of Saint Paul to the Ephesians (Ephesians 4:7-16)

Brethren: Grace was given to each of us according to the measure of Christ’s gift. Therefore it is said, “When he ascended on high he led a host of captives, and he gave gifts to men.” (In saying, “He ascended,” what does it mean but that he had also descended into the lower parts of the earth? He who descended is he who also ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.) And his gifts were that some should be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, for the equipment of the saints, for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; so that we may no longer be children, tossed back and forth and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the cunning of men, by their craftiness in deceitful wiles. Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by every joint with which it is supplied, when each part is working properly, makes bodily growth and up builds itself in love.

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
Psalm 122:1-2.3-4ab.4cd-5 (R. 1)

R/. Let us go rejoicing to the house of the Lord.

I rejoiced when they said to me,
“Let us go to the house of the Lord ”
And now our feet are standing within
your gates, O Jerusalem. R/.

Jerusalem is built as a city
bonded as one together.
It is there that the tribes go up,
the tribes of the Lord. R/.

For Israel’s witness it is
to praise the name of the Lord.
There were set the thrones for judgement,
the thrones of the house of David. R/.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
Ezekiel 33: 11

Alleluia.

I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, says the Lord, but that he turn from his way and live.

Alleluia.

GOSPEL
“Unless you repent you will all likewise perish.”
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke (Luke 13: 1-9)

There were some present at that very time who told Jesus of the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. And he answered them, “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans, because they suffered thus? I tell you, No; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish. Or those eighteen upon whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them, do you think that they were worse offenders than all the others who dwelt in Jerusalem? I tell you, No; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.” And he told this parable: “A man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came seeking fruit on it and found none. And he said to the vinedresser, ‘Behold, these three years I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and I find none. Cut it down; why should it use up the ground?’ And he answered him, ‘Let it alone, sir, this year also, till I dig about it and put on manure. And if it bears fruit next year, well and good; but if not, you can cut it down. ”’

HONORING THE SACRAMENT OF MARRIAGE

Divine Appeal Reflection - 136

Today, consider in Divine Appeal 136:  "My Heart is bleeding for the marriages in which My Sacrament has been suppressed. Too many insults and abuses. I have no rest in the prison of My tabernacle yet I do not want anyone to perish"

In the sacrament of marriage, couples are called to participate in a holy covenant—a promise made before God to love, cherish, and support each other as Christ loves His Church (Ephesians 5:25). As the Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC 1601) reminds us, marriage is not merely a social contract but a sacred institution raised to the dignity of a sacrament by Christ Himself. When the sacramental nature of marriage is disregarded or “suppressed,” the couple and the family suffer deeply, losing the grace and unity that our Adorable Jesus intended for them.

In His Divine Appeal, Jesus points to the wounds inflicted upon His Heart by the increasing disharmony, neglect, and disrespect within marriages. When He says, “My Heart is bleeding for the marriages in which My Sacrament has been suppressed,” our Adorable Jesus expresses a profound sorrow for the way marital love has been compromised by selfishness, misunderstandings, and the lack of forgiveness. Jesus endures this pain in silence, waiting lovingly in the tabernacle, hoping that each married couple will seek His strength to restore their relationship and rediscover the sacramental grace they received at their wedding.

Jesus warns that the suppression of the sacrament results in serious spiritual wounds, not only to the individuals within the marriage but to the children and society at large. This suppression, marked by insults, abuses, and betrayals, allows bitterness, pride, and resentment to take root. It also leaves the marriage unguarded against temptations and trials. When our Adorable Jesus describes His Heart as bleeding, He reveals the spiritual tragedy of allowing marriage—designed as a living symbol of His love—to falter. His sorrowful Heart calls us to recognize that every act of unkindness and neglect within marriage not only impacts the couple but also grieves Him deeply.

In this appeal, our Adorable Jesus does not simply express sorrow but invites married couples to actively seek His grace to heal and renew their bond. His message is a call to rediscover the sacrament’s true purpose: to mirror His divine love. Jesus longs for couples to live out their marriage with commitment, humility, and forgiveness, drawing strength from Him through prayer, the sacraments, and a deepened respect for each other.

In this Divine Appeal, Jesus opens His Heart, showing us His sorrow and inviting married couples to return to the grace of their sacrament. He desires that each couple finds their strength and joy in Him, becoming true witnesses of love and unity. Through the loving call of our Adorable Jesus, may all couples find the courage to renew their devotion to each other, bringing healing to their families and consoling the Heart of Christ.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, our Adorable Savior, pour Your healing love into every wounded marriage. Restore unity, love, and forgiveness in all families. Help each couple cherish the sacrament of marriage, reflecting Your divine love always.

DIVINE APPEAL 136

ON THE EUCHARIST:A DIVINE APPEAL

(Revelation to Sr Anna Ali of the Most Holy Eucharist)

VOLUME 1

“My Heart is bleeding for the marriages in which My Sacrament
has been suppressed.”

“My daughter, watch with Me in this dark and terrible hour. The
souls I love so much do not understand to what extent. With an
anguished heart, I come to beg for prayers. I give My warnings
to mankind. I need them to know that in the Sacrament of My
Love I am in search of souls. It is My Love towards mankind
that made Me embrace all the miseries of human nature. What a pain
My own consecrated souls treat Me as one unknown to them. They
do not understand My feelings. I want the world to know that My
Heart is overflowing with mercy. I only wish souls would realise
that.

My Heart is bleeding for the marriages in which My Sacrament has
been suppressed. Too many insults and abuses. I have no rest in the
prison of My tabernacle yet I do not want anyone to perish. This is
My warning from My Divine Mercy. Pray a great deal. I need more
prayers to appease the wrath of My Eternal Father.

My flock is about to be dispersed. For the sake of souls devote
yourself in prayer and silence. Listen to Me weeping. I need you to
dress My wounds. Evil turns against itself. Bending over the world
I cannot stand to see souls falling into perdition. I come here for
shelter. I need your company. Do not be tired. I want the world to
be saved...”

“I bless you.”

Mass and Preface of the day

FIRST READING
One body, one Lord, one faith, one baptism.
A reading from the Letter of Saint Paul to the Ephesians (Ephesians 4:1-6)

Brethren: I, a prisoner for the Lord, beg you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all lowliness and meekness, with patience, forbearing one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of us all, who is above all and through all and in all.

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
Psalm 24: 1-2.3-4ab.5-6 (R. see 6)

R/. These are the people who seek your face, O Lord.

The Lord’s is the earth and its fullness,
the world, and all who dwell in it.
It is he who set it on the seas;
on the rivers he made it firm.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
Matthew 11:25

Alleluia.

Blessed are you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have revealed to little ones the mysteries of the kingdom.

Alleluia.

GOSPEL

“You know how to interpret the appearance of earth and sky, but why do you not know how to interpret the present time? ”
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke (Luke 12:54-59)

At that time: Jesus said to the multitudes, “When you see a cloud rising in the west, you say at once, ‘A shower is coming’; and so it happens. And when you see the south wind blowing, you say, ‘There will be scorching heat’; and it happens. You hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of earth and sky; but why do you not know how to interpret the present time? “And why do you not judge for yourselves what is right? As you go with your accuser before the magistrate, make an effort to settle with him on the way, lest he drag you to the judge, and the judge hand you over to the officer, and the officer put you in prison. I tell you, you will never get out till you have paid the very last copper.”

FIRST READING
Rooted and grounded in love, may you be filled with all the fullness of God.
A reading from the Letter of Saint Paul to the Ephesians (Ephesians 3:14-21)

Brethren: I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with might through his Spirit in the inner man, and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have power to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to him who by the power at work within us is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, to him be glory in the Church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, for ever and ever. Amen.

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
Psalm 33: I-2.4—5.11- 12.18-19 (R. 5b)

The Lord loves justice and right,

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
Philippians 3:8-9a

Alleluia.

I count everything as refuse, in order that I may gain Christ and be found in him.

Alleluia.

GOSPEL
I have not come to give peace, but rather division.
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke (Luke 12:49-53)

At that time: Jesus said to his disciples, “I came to cast fire upon the earth; and would that it were already kindled! I have a baptism to be baptised with; and how I am constrained until it is accomplished! Do you think that I have come to give peace on earth? No, I tell you, but rather division; for henceforth in one house there will be five divided, three against two and two against three; they will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against her mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.”

The Gospel of the Lord.

GLORIFYING OUR MISERY IN CHRIST

Divine Appeal Reflection - 135

Today, consider in Divine Appeal 135: "In the Sacrament of My Love I collect miseries and make glorious things out of them."

Misery, in the spiritual sense, is a reflection of human frailty, sin, suffering, and the burdens we carry in this fallen world. Life's trials often burden us with feelings of failure, unworthiness, and alienation from God. These experiences of brokenness are inherent to our fallen nature, and at times, they weigh heavily upon us, leaving us feeling isolated and burdened, hindering our ability to faithfully live out our Christian vocation.

However, Our Adorable Jesus calls us to bring these miseries to Him rather than hide them. He does not reject our weaknesses or demand perfection before we come to Him. Instead, He desires us to approach Him with humility and openness, trusting in His grace. In the Most Holy Sacrament of the Eucharist, Christ lovingly receives our brokenness and initiates the divine work of transforming it into glory. He takes our struggles and miseries and transforms them into vessels of His redeeming love, using them as instruments for our sanctification.

Through the Eucharist, Christ, Our Adorable Jesus, collects our miseries with the same love and compassion with which He embraced the Cross. Every trial and sorrow we endure is absorbed by His infinite love, and He transforms them into something glorious. No suffering is wasted when it is united with His redemptive power. By offering our weaknesses and suffering in union with Him, we allow Christ to turn them into moments of grace, transforming weakness into strength, brokenness into wholeness, and suffering into redemption.

This glorification of misery begins now, not just in the afterlife. Through His Eucharistic presence, Christ gradually transforms and infuses our lives with His grace, turning our miseries into pathways of holiness. Divine Appeal 135 invites us to trust completely in Christ’s transforming power. We are called to approach the Eucharist with confidence, knowing that every time we receive Communion, Our Adorable Jesus heals, transforms, and glorifies us. Our offering of misery, given with trust and humility, becomes a sacred exchange, drawing us closer to the perfection He desires for us in this life and the next.

Let us, therefore, not be discouraged by our miseries but offer them to Jesus in the Eucharist, knowing that in His hands, they become pathways to eternal glory.

Prayer

Dear Lord, Our Adorable Jesus, in the Sacrament of Your Love, we bring our weaknesses and miseries before You. Transform them by Your grace, turning our trials into glory. Help us trust in Your mercy and glorify Your name through our struggles. In Your Eucharistic presence, heal and sanctify us.

DIVINE APPEAL 135

ON THE EUCHARIST:A DIVINE APPEAL

(Revelation to Sr Anna Ali of the Most Holy Eucharist)

VOLUME 1

“In the Sacrament of My Love, I collect miseries and make glorious
things out of them... I love mankind.”

“My daughter, listen to me. Spend with Me this dark and lonely hour.
Bring Me souls. Let your intentions be free to serve Me. I am thirsty
for souls. I am in search of Love. In the Sacrament of My Love I
collect miseries and make glorious things out of them. So bring Me
every kind of soul. I want you to use your smile so that those who
will come near you may come near Me. Who can bring Me closer
to souls if not Me hidden in a soul like yours. I beg you to hunt souls
for Me.

Days are approaching when I will stand on this earth and speak with
My judge’s voice. In the Sacrament of My Love, as I am exposed, I
will pour the treasures of My infinite Mercy in human souls. I give
and bless My word. I love mankind. My Eternal Father wants to
send punishment to mankind because it has refused to repent. From
My Divine Mercy I bring My warnings.”

“I bless you.”

FIRST READING
The mystery of Christ has now been revealed, how the Gentiles are fellow heirs of the promise.
A reading from the Letter of Saint Paul to the Ephesians (Ephesians 3:2- 12)

Brethren: I assume that you have heard of the stewardship of God’s grace that was given to me for you, how the mystery was made known to me by revelation, as I have written briefly. When you read this you can perceive my insight into the mystery of Christ; which was not made known to the sons of men in other generations as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; that is, how the Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel. Of this gospel I was made a minister according to the gift of God’s grace which was given me by the working of his power. To me, though I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, and to make all men see what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God who created all things; that through the Church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places. This was according to the eternal purpose which he has realised in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and confidence of access through our faith in him.

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
Isaiah 12:2-3.4bcde. 5-6 (R. 3)

R/. With joy you will draw water from the wells of the Saviour.

“Behold, God is my salvation:
I will trust, and will not be afraid;
for the Lord God is my strength and my song,
and he has become my salvation.”
With joy you will draw water
from the wells of salvation. R/.

“Give thanks to the Lord, call upon his name;
make known his deeds among the nations,
proclaim that his name is exalted.” R/.

“Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously;
let this be known in all the earth.
Shout, and sing for joy, O inhabitants of Sion,
for great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel.” R/.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
Matthew 24:42a.44

Alleluia.

Watch, therefore, and be ready; the Son of man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

Alleluia.

GOSPEL
“Every one to whom much is given, of him will much be required.”
A reading from the Gospel according to Luke (Luke 12:39-48)

At that time: Jesus said to his disciples, “Know this, that if the householder had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would have been awake and would not have left his house to be broken into. You also must be ready; for the Son of man is coming at an hour you do not expect.” Peter said, “Lord, are you telling this parable for us or for all?” And the Lord said, “Who then is the faithful and wise steward, whom his master will set over his household, to give them their portion of food at the proper time? Blessed is that servant whom his master when he comes will find so doing. Truly I tell you, he will set him over all his possessions. But if that servant says to himself, ‘My master is delayed in coming,’ and begins to beat the menservants and the maidservants, and to eat and drink and get drunk, the master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not know, and will punish him, and put him with the unfaithful. And that servant who knew his master’s will, but did not make ready or act according to his will, shall receive a severe beating. But he who did not know, and did what deserved a beating, shall receive a light beating. Every one to whom much is given, of him will much be required; and of him to whom men commit much they will demand the more.”

The Gospel of the Lord.

PRAYER AS AN ACT OF WILL

Divine Appeal Reflection  - 134

Today, consider in Divine Appeal 134: "Do not be tired of praying. The effort of your will is My delight."

Our efforts in prayer become even more precious when they are offered in reparation and consolation to the Real Presence of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. In the Sacrament of His love, Jesus is frequently ignored or given cold treatment. He yearns for deeds of atonement from souls for the transgressions, sacrileges, and indifference for His presence in the Eucharist. Each time we make the effort to pray, especially in reparation, we console the heart of Jesus, who waits for us in the tabernacle. Our prayers of reparation rise like a sweet offering to the Lord, as Scripture reminds us: “Let my prayer be counted as incense before You” (Psalm 141:2). Even when our prayers feel weak, they are received with great delight by Jesus.

Jesus understands the challenges we face in remaining faithful to prayer, but it is precisely in these difficult moments that His heart is most moved. When we choose to pray, despite distractions, tiredness, or struggles, our Adorable Jesus treasures that effort. The act of will required to pray in such circumstances is a powerful act of love that consoles His Sacred Heart. As the Bible encourages us, we are called to seek the Lord and call upon Him even in our moments of weakness and fatigue (Isaiah 55:6). Our Lord does not seek perfect or eloquent prayers. He delights in our heartfelt efforts, no matter how simple they are. As Scripture teaches, the Lord looks at the heart and values our intentions more than our outward actions (1 Samuel 16:7). Each time we overcome our fatigue or distractions to turn to Him, we answer His call to seek Him, fulfilling His desire for our presence.

Let us continue to seek Jesus in prayer, knowing that every time we turn to Him, we bring joy to His heart. By making reparation and offering consolation, we fulfill His call to remain close to Him, even when we feel weak. May we always respond to His plea with love and devotion, trusting that He delights in our efforts and blesses us abundantly.

Prayer

O most loving and Adorable Jesus, we offer You our hearts in humble reparation for all the offenses committed against Your Holy Presence in the Blessed Sacrament. May our prayers and sacrifices console You, and may we always strive to bring comfort and love to You.

DIVINE APPEAL 134

ON THE EUCHARIST:A DIVINE APPEAL

(Revelation to Sr Anna Ali of the Most Holy Eucharist)

VOLUME 1

“I stoop down to your level so that you may not be overpowered by
My immensity.”

“My daughter, listen to Me and watch with Me in this difficult and
terrible hour. Look at Me and give me the oblation of yourself. Do
not be afraid. I beg you to serve My cause. I am always thirsting
for souls; you always say to yourself it is hard to satisfy Him. I am
waiting for souls in each and every moment.

Do not be tired of praying. The effort of your will is My delight. I
want you to grow and have your being in Me for the good of souls.
In the Sacrament of My Love I allow you to enter into My distress.
Pray a great deal and bring Me souls I love so much. I need your
desire for reparation and company. In the Sacrament of My Love
I want you to see the way to console Me. I give you a very keen
pleasure in which you recognise Me and this fills you with joy to
serve Me and bring Me souls. I stoop down to your level so that you
may not be overpowered by My immensity.”

I do not wish anyone to perish. Bending over the earth I shed My
tears of blood over mankind. Day and night souls are falling into
perdition and they are eternally lost.

What more could I have suffered for mankind. It was My great love
for mankind that went out to meet all the torture. I paid for the right
to have the whole of mankind saved. What a pain to me My own...
keep Me thirsty always! Those consecrated to Me! Pray a great deal.
It is time to save souls.”

“I give My blessing.”

Optional Memorial of St. John Paul II, Pope (White)

LH: Office of the Day or Memorial, Week I

Mass and Preface of the day or Memorial

FIRST READING
“He is our peace, who has made us both one.”
A reading from the Letter of Saint Paul to the Ephesians (Ephesians 2:12-22)

Brethren: Remember that you were at that time separated from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near in the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who has made us both one, and has broken down the dividing wall of hostility, by abolishing in his flesh the law of commandments and ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace, and might reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby bringing the hostility to an end. And he came and preached peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near; for through him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father. So then you are no longer strangers and sojourners, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure is joined together and grows into a holy temple in the Lord; in whom you also are built into it for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
Ps 85:9ab and 10.11-12.13-14 (R. 9b)

R/. The Lord speaks of peace for his people.

I will hear what the Lord God speaks;
he speaks of peace for his people and his faithful,
His salvation is near for those who fear him,
and his glory will dwell in our land. R/.

Merciful love and faithfulness have met;
justice and peace have kissed.
Faithfulness shall spring from the earth,
and justice look down from heaven. R/.

Also the Lord will bestow his bounty,
and our earth shall yield its increase.
Justice will march before him,
and guide his steps on the way. R/.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
Luke 21:36

Alleluia.

Watch at all times, praying that you may be able to stand before the Son of man.

Alleluia.

GOSPEL
“Blessed are those servants whom the master finds awake when he comes...”
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke (Luke 12:35-38)

At that time: Jesus said to his disciples, “Let your loins be girded and your lamps burning, and be like men who are waiting for their master to come home from the marriage feast, so that they may open to him at once when he comes and knocks. Blessed are those servants whom the master finds awake when he comes; truly, I say to you, he will put on his apron and have them sit at table, and he will come and serve them. If he comes in the second watch, or in the third, and finds them so, blessed are those servants!”

HOLY MASS READINGS FOR OCTOBER 21, 2024

Monday of  the Twenty Ninth Week in Ordinary Weekday  (Green)

LH: Office of the Day, Week I

Mass and Preface of the day

FIRST READING
“He made us alive together with Christ and made us sit with him in the heavenly places.”
A reading from the Letter of Saint Paul to the Ephesians (Ephesians 2: 1-10)

Brethren: You he made alive, when you were dead through the trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience. Among these we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, following the desires of body and mind, and so we were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind. But God, who is rich in mercy, out of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with him, and made us sit, with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness towards us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not your own doing, it is the gift of God — not because of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
Psalm 100: 1-2.3.4.5 (R. 3b)

R/. The Lord made us; we belong to him.

Cry out with joy to the Lord, all the earth.
Serve the Lord with gladness.
Come before him, singing for joy. R/.

Know that he, the Lord, is God.
He made us; we belong to him.
We are his people, the sheep of his flock. R/.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with songs of praise.
Give thanks to him, and bless his name. R/.

Indeed, how good is the Lord,
eternal his merciful love.
He is faithful from age to age. R/.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
Matthew 5:3

Alleluia.

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Alleluia.

GOSPEL
“The things you have prepared, whose will they be?”
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke (Luke 12: 13-21)

At that time: One of the multitude said to Jesus, “Teacher, bid my brother divide the inheritance with me.” But he said to him, “Man, who made me a judge or divider over you?” And he said to them, “Take heed, and beware of all covetousness; for a man’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.” And he told them a parable, saying, “The land of a rich man brought forth plentifully; and he thought to himself, ‘What shall I do, for I have nowhere to store my crops?’ And he said, ‘I will do this: I will pull down my barns, and build larger ones; and there I will store all my grain and my goods. And I will say to my soul, Soul, you have ample goods laid up for many years; take your ease, eat, drink, be merry.’ “But God said to him, ‘Fool! This night your soul is required of you; and the things you have prepared, whose will they be?' “So is he who lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.”

LH: Office of the Twenty Ninth Sunday, Week I

Gloria, Creed, Preface of Sundays in Ordinary Time

Mission Sunday

FIRST READING
“When he makes himself an offering for sin, he shall see his offspring, he shall prolong his days,. ”.
A reading from the Book of Isaiah (Isaiah 53: 10-11)

It was the will of the Lord to bruise him; he has put him to grief, when he makes himself an offering for sin, he shall see his offspring, he shall prolong his days; the will of the Lord shall prosper in his hand; he shall see the fruit of the travail of his soul and be satisfied; by his knowledge shall the righteous one, my servant, make many to be accounted righteous; and he shall bear their iniquities.

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
Psalm 33:4-5.18-19.20 and 22 (R. 22)

R/. May your merciful love be upon us, as we hope in you, O Lord

For the word of the Lord is faithful,
and all his works to be trusted.
The Lord loves justice and right,
and his merciful love fills the earth. R/.

Yes, the Lord’s eyes are on those who fear him,
who hope in his merciful love,
to rescue their souls from death,
to keep them alive in famine. R/.

Our soul is waiting for the Lord.
He is our help and our shield.
May your merciful love be upon us,
as we hope in you, O Lord. R/.

SECOND READING
“Let us with confidence draw near to the throne of grace.”
A reading from the Letter to the Hebrews (Hebrews 4:14-16)

Brethren: Since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we have not a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sinning. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

The word of the Lord.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
Mark 10:45

Alleluia.

The Son of man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.

 Alleluia.

GOSPEL
“The Son of man came to give his life as a ransom for many.”
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Mark (Mark 10:35-45)

At that time: James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came forward to Jesus, and said to him, “Teacher, we want you to do for us whatever we ask of you.” And he said to them, “What do you want me to do for you?” And they said to him, “Grant us to sit, one at your right hand and one at your left, in your glory.” But Jesus said to them, “You do not know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the chalice that I drink, or to be baptised with the baptism with which I am baptised?” And they said to him, “We are able.” And Jesus said to them, “The chalice that I drink you will drink; and with the baptism with which I am baptised, you will be baptised; but to sit at my right hand or at my left is not mine to grant, but it is for those for whom it has been prepared.” And when the ten heard it, they began to be indignant at James and John. And Jesus called them to him and said to them, “You know that those who are supposed to rule over the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great men exercise authority over them. But it shall not be so among you; but whoever would be great among you must be your servant, and whoever would be first among you must be slave of all. For the Son of man also came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

The Gospel of the Lord.

Or shorter:

A reading from the holy Gospel according to Mark (Mark 10:42-45)

At that time: Jesus called [the Twelve] to him and said to them, “You know that those who are supposed to rule over the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great men exercise authority over them. But it shall not be so among you; but whoever would be great among you must be your servant, and whoever would be first among you must be slave of all. For the Son of man also came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

THE PRECIOUS GIFT OF TIME

 Divine Appeal Reflection  - 133

Today, consider in Divine Appeal 133: "Bring Me souls. Do not waste any of these precious times. Time is short for saving souls. I want souls to know My clemency"

Reminding us that "The days of our life are short," the Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC 1007) highlights how time is a valuable gift from God. One of His greatest blessings, time is often misused or squandered. Every moment presents a new opportunity to grow in charity, love, and holiness, calling us to use it wisely for His glory and the salvation of souls. Time, when rightly embraced, becomes a path to spiritual growth and fulfillment of our Christian mission. This precious gift should not be wasted on vain or worldly pursuits but rather should be spent on what is eternal—bringing souls to Christ, our Adorable Jesus.

We are stewards of our time, entrusted with the responsibility to use it moderately and wisely. Jesus, through His words, encourages us to approach this stewardship with care: "Do not waste any of these precious times." The parable of the talents (Matthew 25:14-30) illustrates this well—those who use their time and talents in service of God's will are rewarded. Likewise, every act of kindness, prayer, and sacrifice we make brings souls closer to the boundless mercy and clemency of Jesus.

In Divine Appeal 133, Jesus emphasizes the urgency: "Time is short for saving souls." This reminds us that our earthly time is limited, and the opportunity to affect others' eternal destinies is fleeting. Our Adorable Jesus longs to extend His clemency and mercy to all souls, especially those who are distant from His love. As Christians, we are tasked with the sacred duty of sharing this divine mercy, becoming instruments of His grace through prayer, example, and evangelization.

In our daily lives, we can emulate the zeal of the saints by making conscious efforts to bring Christ into our homes, workplaces, and communities. Whether by engaging in conversations that uplift and proclaim the truths of the Faith, inviting others to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, or offering heartfelt prayers for those lost in spiritual darkness, we are answering Jesus’ urgent call: "Bring Me souls." Through these acts of charity, we become instruments of His divine mercy, drawing souls back to His loving embrace and fulfilling our Christian duty to lead others to the salvation found in Christ alone.

Prayer

Our Adorable Jesus, grant us the grace to use each moment wisely for Your glory. Help us bring souls to Your boundless mercy. Strengthen our faith and fill our hearts with love for Your Real Presence in the Blessed Sacrament. May we always follow Your will with humility and devotion.

Sr. Anna Ali of the Most Holy Eucharist, intercede for us.

FIRST READING
“He made Christ the head over all things for the Church, which is his body. ”
A reading from the Letter of Saint Paul to the Ephesians (Ephesians 1:15-23)

Brethren: Because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love towards all the saints, I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power in us who believe, according to the working of his great might which he accomplished in Christ when he raised him from the dead and made him sit at his right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come; and he has put all things under his feet and has made him the head over all things for the Church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
Psalm 8:2-3a.4-5.6-7 (R. see 6a)

R/. You have given your Son power over the works of your hands.

O Lord, our Lord, how majestic
is your name through all the earth!
Your majesty is set above the heavens.
From the mouths of children and of babes
you fashioned praise. R/.

When I see the heavens, the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars which you arranged,
what is man that you should keep him in mind,
the son of man that you care for him? R/.

Yet you have made him little lower than the angels;
with glory and honour you crowned him,
gave him power over the works of your hands:
you put all things under his feet. R/.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
John 15:26b.27a

Alleluia.

The Spirit of truth will bear witness to me, says the Lord; and you also are witnesses.

Alleluia.

GOSPEL
“The Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say. ”
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke (Luke 12:8-12)

At that time: Jesus said to his disciples, “Every one who acknowledges me before men, the Son of man also will acknowledge before the angels of God; but he who denies me before men will be denied before the angels of God. And every one who speaks a word against the Son of man will be forgiven; but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven. And when they bring you before the synagogues and the rulers and the authorities, do not be anxious about how or what you are to answer or what you are to say; for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.”

HOLY MASS READINGS FOR OCTOBER 18 , 2024

Friday of the Twenty Eighth Week in Ordinary Weekday (Red)

Feast of St. Luke the Evangelist

LH: Office of the Feast

Mass of the Feast, Gloria.

Preface of Apostles

FIRST READING
Luke alone is with me.
A reading from the second Letter of Saint Paul to Timothy (2 Timothy 4:10-17ab)

Beloved: Demas, in love with this present world, has deserted rue and gone to Thessalonica; Crescens has gone to Galatia, Titus to Dalmatia. Luke alone is with me. Get Mark and bring him with you; for he is very useful in serving me. Tychicus I have sent to Ephesus. When you come, bring the cloak that I left with Carpus at Troas, also the books, and above all the parchments. Alexander the coppersmith did me great harm; the Lord will pay him back for his deeds. Beware of him yourself, for he strongly opposed our message. At my first defence no one took my part; all deserted me. May it not be charged against them! But the Lord stood by me and gave me strength to proclaim the word fully, that all the Gentiles might hear it.

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
Ps 145:10-11, 12-13ab, 17-18 (R. see 12a)

R/. Your saints, O Lord, make known the glory of your reign.

All your works shall thank you, O Lord,
And all your faithful ones bless you.
They shall speak of the glory of your reign,
And declare your mighty deeds. R/.

To make known your might to the children of men,
And the glorious splendour of your reign.
Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom;
Your rule endures for all generations. R/.

The Lord is just in all his ways,
And holy in all his deeds.
The Lord is close to all who call him,
Who call on him in truth. R/.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
John 15:16

Alleluia.

I chose you from the world that you should go and bear fruit and that fruit should abide, says the Lord.

Alleluia.

GOSPEL
The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke (Luke 10:1-9)

At that time: The Lord appointed seventy others, and sent them on ahead of him, two by two, into every town and place where he himself was about to come. And he said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few; pray therefore the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into his harvest. Go your way; behold, I send you out as lambs in the midst of wolves. Carry no purse, no bag, no sandals; and salute no one on the road. Whatever house you enter, first say, ‘peace be to this house!’ And if a son of peace is there, your peace shall rest upon him; but if not, it shall return to you. And remain in the same house, eating and drinking what they provide, for the labourer deserves his wages; do not go from house to house. Whenever you enter a town and they receive you, eat what is set before you; heal the sick in it and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.

HOLY MASS READINGS FOR OCTOBER 17 , 2024

Thursday of the Twenty Eighth Week in Ordinary Weekday (Red)

Memorial of St. Ignatius of Antioch, Bishop and Martyr

LH: Office of the Memorial, Week IV

Mass and Preface of the Memorial

FIRST READING
“He chose us in him before the foundation of the world.”
The beginning of the Letter of Saint Paul to the Ephesians (Ephesians 1: 1- 10)

Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, to the saints who are also faithful in Christ Jesus: Grace and peace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. He destined us in love to be his sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace which he freely bestowed on us in the Beloved. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace which he lavished upon us. For he has made known to us in all wisdom and insight the mystery of his will, according to his purpose which he set forth in Christ as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth:

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
Psalm 98: 1.2-3ab.3cd-4.5-6 (R. 2a)

R/. The Lord has made known his salvation.

O sing a new song to the Lord,
for he has worked wonders.
His right hand and his holy
arm have brought salvation. R/.

The LORD has made known his salvation,
has shown his deliverance to the nations.
He has remembered his merciful
love and his truth for the house of Israel. R/.

All the ends of the earth have
seen the salvation of our God.
Shout to the Lord, all the earth;
break forth into joyous song,
and sing out your praise. R/.

Sing psalms to the Lord with the harp,
with the harp and the sound of song.
With trumpets and the sound of the horn,
raise a shout before the King, the Lord. R/.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
John 14:6

Alleluia.

I am the way, and the truth, and the life, says the Lord; no one comes to the Father but by me.

Alleluia.

GOSPEL
The blood of the prophets will be required, from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah.
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke (Luke 11:47-54)

At that time: Jesus said, “Woe to you! For you build the tombs of the prophets whom your fathers killed. So you are witnesses and consent to the deeds of your fathers; for they killed them, and you build their tombs. Therefore also the Wisdom of God said, ‘I will send them prophets and apostles, some of whom they will kill and persecute, ’that the blood of all the prophets, shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation, from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah, who perished between the altar and the sanctuary. Yes, I tell you, it shall be required of this generation. Woe to you lawyers! For you have taken away the key of knowledge; you did not enter yourselves, and you hindered those who were entering. As he went away from there, the scribes and the Pharisees began to press him hard, and to provoke him to speak of many things, lying in wait for him, to catch him in something he might say.

DIVINE APPEAL 133

ON THE EUCHARIST:A DIVINE APPEAL

(Revelation to Sr Anna Ali of the Most Holy Eucharist)

VOLUME 1

“Innumerable number of souls are on the way to perdition.”

“My daughter, spend with Me this great hour. Watch and pray.
Bring Me souls. Do not waste any of these precious times. Time is
short for saving souls. I want souls to know My clemency. I do not
want anyone to perish. My Divine Mercy is followed by My Divine
Justice. In the Sacrament of My Love I am so much abused and
blasphemed. My own... are in tranquillity and are worriless. They
step on Me and allow everything. My flock is about to be dispersed.
I am thirsting for souls.

Innumerable number of souls are on the way to perdition. I am in
agony over souls. Pray and atone. If a soul is lost it goes for ever.
What more could I have suffered for mankind! In the Sacrament of
My Love you are a victim. Quench My thirst.

Pray a great deal. The world is a swampland and muck and mire.
Time is approaching when it will be in the mercy of the most severe
trials of Divine Justice. With tears in My Heart, I am calling before
it is too late. I give the warning from My Divine Mercy. Pray a great
deal and cloister souls in your heart. When I save a soul I save it
forever. Do not be afraid. I give you the strength to pray and bring
Me souls. I will never ask you for something unbearable.”

“I bless you.”

Optional Memorial of St. Hedwig   (White)

Optional Memorial of St. Margaret Mary Alacoque  (White)

LH: Office of the Day or one of the Memorials, Week IV

Mass and Preface of the day or one of the Memorials

FIRST READING
“Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
A reading from the Letter of Saint Paul to the Galatians (Galatians 5:18-25)

Brethren: If you are led by the Spirit you are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are plain: immorality, impurity, licentiousness, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, anger, selfishness, dissension, party spirit, envy, drunkenness, carousing, and the like. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such there is no law. And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
Psalm 1 : 1-2.3.4 and 6 (R. see John 5: l2)

R/. He who follows you, Lord, will have the light of life.

Blessed indeed is the man
who follows not the counsel of the wicked,
nor stands in the path with sinners,
nor abides in the company of scorners,
but whose delight is the law of the Lord,
and who ponders his law day and night. R/.

He is like a tree that is planted
beside the flowing waters,
that yields its fruit in due season,
and whose leaves shall never fade;
and all that he does shall prosper. R/.

Not so are the wicked, not so!
For they, like winnowed chaff,
shall be driven away by the wind.
for the Lord knows the way of the just,
but the way of the wicked will perish. R/.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
John 10:27

Alleluia.

My sheep hear my voice, says the Lord; and I know them, and they follow me.

Alleluia.

GOSPEL
“Woe to you Pharisees! Woe to you lawyers also! ”
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke (Luke 11:42-46)

At that time: Jesus said, “Woe to you Pharisees! for you tithe mint and rue and every herb, and neglect justice and the love of God; these you ought to have done, without neglecting the others. Woe to you Pharisees! for you love the best seat in the synagogues and salutations in the market places. Woe to you! for you are like graves which are not seen, and men walk over them without knowing it.” One of the lawyers answered him, “Teacher, in saying this you reproach us also.” And he said, “Woe to you lawyers also! for you load men with burdens hard to bear, and you yourselves do not touch the burdens with one of your fingers.”
