THE UNCHANGING LOVE OF JESUS

 Divine Appeal Reflection  - 122

Today, consider in Divine Appeal 122:  "My love is unalterable and will endure to the end of time with the same tenderness and predilection."

The pinnacle of our Adorable Jesus' unending zeal for souls is revealed in the Most Blessed Sacrament, where He demonstrates His incomprehensible love. This same love, veiled in the Sacred Host, is the sacrificial love that led Him to Calvary. As our Divine Bridegroom, Jesus dwells in every Tabernacle, desiring our sanctification and salvation. Our Lord’s proclamation, that His love for us mirrors the Father’s love for Him, remains an ever-present invitation to find solace in His infinite affection (Jn 15:9). In the Holy Eucharist, He fulfills His sacred promise to remain with us until the end of time (Mt 28:20).

In the sublime humility in the Most Blessed Sacrament, Jesus offers His Real Presence, tender, merciful, and profound just as when He walked upon this earth, continuing to pour out His love and grace upon us. Each encounter in Eucharistic Adoration or Holy Communion draws us deeper into the mystery of His divine love. His Sacred Heart, aflame with love and mercy, seeks to heal, unite, and sanctify us. The Eucharist is a continual call to live in prayer, repentance, and thanksgiving. We join the Church in offering reparation and atonement for transgressions against His love by responding with complete submission and faith. We therefore live out the words of the Psalmist (Psalm 34:1), “I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall be always in my mouth,” by remaining in Jesus' gentle love continually.

Through the example of Sr. Anna Ali, may we live with hearts full of humility and trust, always abiding in the infinite tenderness of our Adorable Jesus, who loves us with an unfathomable and unalterable love. Let us draw near to His Eucharistic presence, offering our prayers in reparation for the many offenses committed against Him. May His unwavering love give us courage so that we can let it change our hearts and bring us closer to Himself. As Sr. Anna responded to His call, may we also surrender our lives, trusting in His boundless mercy and fidelity.

Prayer

Our Adorable Jesus, hidden in the Most Blessed Sacrament, we humbly adore Your enduring love. Fill our hearts with trust in Your infinite mercy and draw us ever nearer to Your Sacred Heart. Help us to offer reparation for all offenses and to remain faithful in Your love.

Sr. Anna Ali of the Most Holy Eucharist, intercede for us.
