DIVINE APPEAL 131

ON THE EUCHARIST:A DIVINE APPEAL

(Revelation to Sr Anna Ali of the Most Holy Eucharist)

VOLUME 1

“Like a beggar I ask for reparation and consolation.”

“My daughter, do not be tired of praying. In My Presence I am always
attacked on all sides. I pour My tears over mankind. Like a beggar
I ask for reparation and consolation. I want mankind to repent
otherwise it will cast down the innocent souls into perdition. Time is
short for saving souls.

For the sake of souls put yourself in the high spirit of prayers. This is
time for Divine Mercy. Many do not listen to Me because they do not
believe in My reality. I am pained most by the souls consecrated
to Me who betray Me. Pray a great deal to appease the wrath of My
Eternal Father.”

“I give My blessing.”

HOLY MASS READINGS FOR SEPTEMBER 30, 2024

Monday of the Twenty Sixth Week in Ordinary Weekday (White)

Memorial of St. Jerome, Priest and Doctor

LH: Office of the Memorial, Week II

Mass and Preface of the Memorial

FIRST READING
“The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away, ‘blessed be the name of the Lord. ”
A reading from the Book of Job (Job 1:6-22)

There was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Loan, and Satan also came among them. The Lord said to Satan, “From where have you come?” Satan answered the Lord, “From going back and forth on the earth, and from walking up and down on it.” And the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, who fears God and turns away from evil?” Then Satan answered the Lord, “Does Job fear God for nothing? Have you not put a hedge about him and his house and all that he has, on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land. But put forth your hand now, and touch all that he has, and he will curse you to your face.” And the LORD said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your power; only upon himself do not put forth your hand.” So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord. Now there was a day when his sons and daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother’s house; and there came a messenger to Job, and said, “The oxen were ploughing and the donkeys feeding beside them; and the Sabeans fell upon them and took them, and slew the servants with the edge of the sword; and I alone have escaped to tell you.” While he was yet speaking, there came another, and said, “The fire of God fell from heaven and burnt up the sheep and the servants, and consumed them; and I alone have escaped to tell you.” While he was yet speaking, there came another, and said, “The Chaldeans formed three companies, and made a raid upon the camels and took them, and slew the servants with the edge of the sword; and I alone have escaped to tell you.” While he was yet speaking, there came another, and said, “Your sons and daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother’s house; and behold, a great wind came across the wilderness, and struck the four corners of the house, and it fell upon the young people, and they are dead; and I alone have escaped to tell you.” Then Job arose, and tore his robe, and shaved his head, and fell upon the ground, and worshipped. And he said, “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return; the Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Loco.” In all this Job did not sin or charge God with wrong.

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
Psalm 17:1.2-3.6-7 (R. 6b)

R/. Lord, turn your ear to me; hear my words.

O Lord, hear a cause that is just,
pay heed to my cry.
Turn your ear to my prayer:
no deceit is on my lips. R/.

From you may my justice come forth.
Your eyes discern what is upright.
Search my heart and visit me by night.
Test me by fire, and you will find no wrong in me. R/.

To you I call; for you will surely heed me,
O God. Turn your ear to me; hear my words.
Display your merciful love.
By your right hand you deliver from their
foes those who put their trust in you. R/.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
Mark 10:45

Alleluia.

The Son of man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.

Alleluia.

GOSPEL
“He who! Is least among you all is the one who is great.”
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke (Luke 9:46-50)

At that time: An argument arose among the disciples as to which of them was the greatest. But when Jesus perceived the thought of their hearts, he took a child and put him by his side, and said to them, “Whoever receives this child in my name receives me, and whoever receives me receives him who sent me; for he who is least among you all is the one who is great.” John answered, “Master, we saw a man casting out demons in your name, and we forbade him, because he does not follow with us.” But Jesus said to him, “Do not forbid him; for he that is not against you is for you.”

HOLY MASS READINGS FOR SEPTEMBER 29, 2024

Twenty Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time, Year B   (Green)

Mass of the Twenty Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time

LH: Office of the Twenty Sixth Sunday, Week II

Gloria, Creed, Preface of Sundays in Ordinary Time

FIRST READING
“Are you jealous for my sake? Would that all the Lord’s people were prophets.”
A reading from the Book of Numbers (Numbers 11 :25-29)

In those days: The Lord came down in the cloud and spoke to Moses, and took some of the spirit that was upon him and put it upon the seventy elders; and when the spirit rested upon them, they prophesied. But they did so no more. Now two men remained in the camp, one named Eldad, and the other named Medad, and the spirit rested upon them; they were among those registered, but they had not gone out to the tent, and so they prophesied in the camp. And a young man ran and told Moses, “Eldad and Medad are prophesying in the camp.” And Joshua the son of Nun, the minister of Moses, one of his chosen men, said, “My lord Moses, forbid them.” But Moses said to him, “Are you jealous for my sake? Would that all the Lord’s people were prophets, that the Lord would put his spirit upon them!”

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
Psalm19:7.9.11- 12.13 (R. 8ab)

R/. The precepts of the Lord are right; they gladden the heart.

The law of the Lord is perfect;
it revives the soul.
The decrees of the Lord are steadfast;
they give wisdom to the simple. R/.

The fear of the Lord is pure, abiding forever.
The judgements of the Lord are true;
they are, all of them, just. R/.

So in them your servant finds instruction;
great reward is in their keeping.
But who can detect their own errors?
From hidden faults acquit me. R/.

From presumption restrain your servant;
may it not rule me.
Then shall I be blameless,
clean from grave sin. R/.

SECOND READING
“Your riches have rotted.”
A reading from the Letter of Saint James (James 5: 1-6)

Come now, you rich, weep and howl for the miseries that are coming upon you. Your riches have rotted and your garments are moth-eaten. Your gold and silver have rusted, and their rust will be evidence against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have laid up treasure for the last days. Behold, the wages of the labourers who mowed your fields, which you kept back by fraud, cry out; and the cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord of hosts. You have lived on the earth in luxury and in pleasure; you have fattened your hearts in a day of slaughter. You have condemned, you have killed the righteous man; he does not resist you.

The word of the Lord.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
John 17:17b (a)

Alleluia.

Your word, O Lord, is truth; sanctify us in the truth.

Alleluia.

GOSPEL
“He that is not against us is for us. If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off.”
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Mark (Mark 9:38-43.45.47-48)

At that time: John said to Jesus, “Teacher, we saw a man casting out demons in your name, and we forbade him, because he was not following us.” But Jesus said, “Do not forbid him; for no one who does a mighty work in my name will be able soon after to speak evil of me. For he that is not against us is for us. For truly, I say to you, whoever gives you a cup of water to drink because you bear the name of Christ, will by no means lose his reward. “Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him if a great little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him if a great millstone were hung round his neck and he were thrown into the sea. And if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off; it is better for you to enter life lame than with two feet to be thrown into hell. And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out; it is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than with two eyes to be thrown into hell, where their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched.”

CLOISTERING SOULS IN OUR HEARTS

Divine Appeal Reflection  - 130

Today, consider in Divine Appeal 130:  "I order you to pray a great deal and cloister souls in your heart."

To cloister souls in our hearts is to offer them the sanctuary of prayer, sheltering them with love and mercy as we intercede before God. This practice mirrors the physical cloister of religious communities, where monks and nuns live lives of prayer and sacrifice, set apart from the world. The true cloister to which we are called to bring souls is not confined to a mere physical space; rather, it is the Sacred Heart of Our Adorable Jesus, truly present in the Blessed Sacrament. It is within this Eucharistic Heart, the living and beating Heart of the Church, that souls are drawn into the unfathomable depths of divine love and mercy. Here, in the Real Presence of Christ, we find the ultimate sanctuary, where the faithful are united to His saving grace. The Eucharist is not only the source of life for our souls but also the place where we can spiritually shelter those for whom we pray.

To cloister souls in this ultimate Eucharistic cloister means to offer them to Jesus during moments of adoration, Holy Communion, and prayer before the tabernacle. In this most holy place, Jesus, the Divine Physician, through His sacramental presence, heals hearts and sanctifies lives. Whenever we bring souls to Jesus present in the Blessed Sacrament, we enter the most sacred place of refuge and grace. Our Lord waits in the tabernacle for us to come to Him, bearing the souls we carry in our hearts. Longingly, He awaits to receive them, to pour out His mercy upon them, and to draw them into the healing light of His love.

As St. John Paul II once said, "In the Eucharist is the presence of Christ in our midst. We draw from the Eucharist the necessary strength to fulfill our mission." In this mission of intercession, we bring souls to Christ’s Eucharistic presence, allowing Him to touch their lives with His saving grace. The more time we spend with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, the deeper we can enclose the souls of others in His Heart, trusting in His ability to transform their lives.

Prayer

Our Adorable Jesus, truly present in the Blessed Sacrament, cloister the souls we carry within us in Your love, and pour out Your mercy upon them. Heal, forgive, and sanctify them by Your divine presence. May Your Eucharistic love draw all souls closer to You, now and forever.

Sr. Anna Ali of the Most Holy Eucharist, intercede for us.

& Companions, Martyrs   (Red)

Optional Memorial of the Blessed Virgin Mary   (White)

LH: Office of the Day or one of the Memorials, Week I

Morning Mass and Preface of the day or one of the Memorials

FIRST READING
“Remember your creator in the days of your youth before the dust returns to the earth and the spirit returns to God.”
A reading from the Book of Ecclesiastes (Ecclesiastes 11:9-12:8)

Rejoice, O young man, in your youth, and let your heart cheer you in the days of your youth; walk in the ways ref your heart and the sight of your eyes. But know that for all these things God will bring you into judgement. Remove vexation from your mind, and put away pain from your body; for youth and the dawn of life are vanity. Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come, and the years draw nigh, when you will say, “I have no pleasure in them”; before the sun and the light and the moon and the stars are darkened and the clouds return after the rain; in the day when the keepers of the house tremble, and the strong men are bent, and the grinders cease because they are few, and those that look through the windows are dimmed, and the doors on the street are shut; when the sound of the grinding is low, and one rises up at the voice of a bird, and all the daughters of song are brought low; they are afraid also of what is high, and terrors are in the way; the almond tree blossoms, the grasshopper drags itself along and desire fails; because man goes to his eternal home, and the mourners go about the streets; before the silver cord is snapped, or the golden bowl is broken, or the pitcher is broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern, and the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it. Vanity of vanities, says the Preacher; all is vanity.

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
Psalm 90:3-4.5-6.12-13. 14 and 17 (R. 1)

R/. O Lord, you have been our refuge, from generation to generation.

You turn man back to dust,
and say, “Return, O children of men.”
To your eyes a thousand years
are like yesterday, come and gone,
or like a watch in the night. R/.

You sweep them away like a dream,
like grass which is fresh in the morning.
In the morning it sprouts and is fresh;
by evening it withers and fades. R/.

R/. O Lord, you have been our refuge, from generation to generation.

Then teach us to number our days,
that we may gain wisdom of heart.
Turn back, O Lord! How long?
Show pity to your servants. R/.

At dawn, fill us with your merciful love;
we shall exult and rejoice all our days.
Let the favour of the Lord our God be upon us;
give success to the work of our hands.
O give success to the work of our hands. R/.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
2 Timothy 1:10

Alleluia.

Our Saviour Jesus Christ abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel.

Alleluia.

GOSPEL
“The Son of man is to be delivered into the hands of men. They were afraid to ask him about this saying.”
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke (Luke 9:43b-45)

At that time: While all were marveling at everything Jesus did, he said to his disciples, “Let these words sink into your ears; for the Son of man is to be delivered into the hands of men.” But they did not understand this saying, and it was concealed from them, that they should not perceive it; and they were afraid to ask him about this saying.

Friday of the Twenty Fifth Week in Ordinary Weekday (White)

Memorial of St. Vincent de Paul, Priest

LH: Office of the Memorial, Week I

Mass and Preface of the Memorial

FIRST READING
“’There is a time for every matter under heaven.”
A reading from the Book of Ecclesiastes (Ecclesiastes 3:1-11)

For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; a time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace. What gain has the worker from his toil? I have seen the business that God has given to the sons of men to be busy with. He has made everything beautiful in its time; also he has put eternity into man’s mind, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
Psalm 144: 1a and 2abc.3-4 (R. 1a)

R/. Blest be the Lord, my rock!

Blest be the Lord, my rock.
He is my merciful love, my fortress;
he is my stronghold, my saviour,
my shield in whom I take refuge. R/.

Lord, what is man that you regard him,
the son of man that you keep him in mind,
man who is merely a breath,
whose days are like a passing shadow? R/.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
Mark 10:45

Alleluia.

The Son of man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.

Alleluia.

GOSPEL
You are the Christ of God. The Son of man must suffer many things.
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke (Luke 9: 18-22)

Now it happened that as Jesus was praying alone the disciples were with him; and he asked them, “Who do the people say that I am?” And they answered, “John the Baptist; but others say, Elijah; and others, that one of the old prophets has risen.” And he said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” And Peter answered, “The Christ of God.” But he charged and commanded them to tell this to no one, saying, “The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and on the third day be raised.”

DIVINE APPEAL 130

ON THE EUCHARIST:A DIVINE APPEAL

(Revelation to Sr Anna Ali of the Most Holy Eucharist)

VOLUME 1

“Dress My Wounds.”

“My daughter, pray a great deal. Pray for those who are consecrated
to Me. I am always thirsty for them. Do not fear. I am at the centre
of your life listening to you. Do not leave Me. Stay with Me all the
days so that in the Sacrament of My Love you may give Me company.
Take your place near Me.

I beg you to dress My wounds caused by the souls I love so much.
In the Sacrament of My Love I am a stranger where the closest souls
to Me do not recognize Me. I call and wait for them each moment.
For I make My home here. Abide with Me still in the depths of your
heart so that you will give Me shelter. Reflect on My words. I thirst.
If you can know this thirst – it is more than the thirst of mankind –
you would devise every means in your power to quench it. I order
you to pray a great deal and cloister souls in your heart.”

“I bless you.”

FIRST READING
“There is nothing new under the sun.”
A reading from the Book of Ecclesiastes (Ecclesiastes 1:2- 11)

Vanity of vanities, says the Preacher, vanity of vanities! All is vanity. What does man gain by all the toil at which he toils under the sun? A generation goes, and a generation comes, but the earth remains for ever. The sun rises and the sun goes down, and hastens to the place where it rises. The wind blows to the south, and goes round to the north; round and round goes the wind, and on its circuits the wind returns. All streams run to the sea, but the sea is not full; to the place where the streams flow, there they flow again. All things are full of weariness; a man cannot utter it; the eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear filled with hearing. What has been is what will be, and what has been done is what will be done; and there is nothing new under the sun. Is there a thing of which it is said, “See, this is new”? It has been already, in the ages before us. There is no remembrance of former things, nor will there be any remembrance of later things yet to happen among those who come after.

The word of the Lord.

A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke (Luke 9:7-9)

At that time: Herod the tetrarch heard of all that was done by Jesus, and he was perplexed, because it was said by some that John had been raised from the dead, by some that Elijah had appeared, and by others that one of the old prophets had risen. FIRST READING
“Give me neither poverty nor riches, feed me with the food that is needful f0r me.”
A reading from the Book of Proverbs (Proverbs 30:5-9)

Every word of God proves true; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. Do not add to his words, lest he rebuke you, and you be found a liar. Two things I ask of you; deny them not to me before I die: Remove far from me falsehood and lying; give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with the food that is needful for me, lest I be full, and deny you, and say, “Who is the Lord?” or lest I be poor, and steal, and profane the name of my God.

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
Ps 119:29.72.89.101.104.163 (R. 105a)

R/. Your word is a lamp for my feet, Lord.

Keep me from the way of falsehood;
grant me mercy by your law. R/.

The law from your mouth means more to me
than large quantities of silver and gold. R/.

Forever is your word, O Lord,
standing firm in the heavens. R/.

I keep my feet from every evil path,
to obey your word. R/.

I gain understanding from your precepts,
and so I hate all false ways. R/.

Falsehood I hate and detest,
but I love your law. R/.

“He sent them out to preach the kingdom of God and to heal.”
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke (Luke 9: 1-6)

At that time: Jesus called the Twelve together and gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure diseases, and he sent them out to preach the kingdom of God and to heal. And he said to them, “Take nothing for your journey, no staff, nor bag, nor bread, nor money; and do not have two tunics. And whatever house you enter, stay there, and from there depart. And wherever they do not receive you, when you leave that town shake off the dust from your feet as a testimony against them.” And they departed and went through the villages, preaching the gospel and healing everywhere.

THE PAIN OF REJECTED LOVE

Divine Appeal Reflection  - 129

Today, consider in Divine Appeal 129:  "I need the desire to repair. What a pain! I am forced to walk through the streets with tears in My eyes!"

When we picture our Adorable Jesus with tears in His eyes, we are reminded of the tender compassion He holds for each of us. His tears reveal that our Savior is deeply engaged in the lives of His people, never distant or unaffected by the world’s brokenness. Just as He wept over Jerusalem (cf. Luke 19:41), mourning its refusal to accept His peace, so too does He weep over humanity’s present state of sin, confusion, and indifference. His tears are an expression of His Sacred Heart, which beats with infinite love for every soul, yet is so often met with coldness, rejection, and apathy.

The pain of Jesus’ rejected love is profound. Our Adorable Jesus continually offers Himself to us, especially in the Eucharist, yet many fail to respond to this immense gift. His tears reflect the agony of a wounded Heart—a Heart longing to be known and loved, but instead often treated with irreverence or indifference. This sorrow is made even greater by the fact that the spirit of holiness and the fear of God have eroded away in so many souls. The reverence once held for the sacred is lost, and the gravity of sin is often downplayed in a world that disregards God’s love.

Jesus' pain reaches its peak in witnessing how evil has captured souls, even among priests and consecrated souls. Those who are meant to lead, guide, and model holiness have themselves fallen prey to sin and moral compromise. This betrayal deeply wounds His Heart, as His closest companions turn away, intensifying His sorrow. In response, our Adorable Jesus sheds His tears as a direct plea for reparation—a call for all of us to return to holiness and console His wounded Heart through prayer, faithfulness, and a renewed spirit of reverence and love.

May our Adorable Jesus find in us souls willing to console His wounded Heart. His tears are a direct plea for reparation, calling each of us to return to holiness, to rekindle the spirit of reverence, and to offer our prayers and sacrifices for the salvation of souls. In this way, we can wipe away His tears and respond to His sorrow with faithfulness and love. May we comfort His Sacred Heart and aid in restoring a spirit of holiness and fear of God to the world through our actions of homage and reparation.

Prayer

O Adorable Jesus, sorrowful for the wounds inflicted by our sins and the sins of the world, grant us the grace to console You through our love, reparation, and faithfulness. May our hearts burn with a renewed spirit of holiness and fervor for You.

DIVINE APPEAL 129

ON THE EUCHARIST:A DIVINE APPEAL

(Revelation to Sr Anna Ali of the Most Holy Eucharist)

VOLUME 1

“I need the desire to repair.”

“My daughter, pray a great deal and atone. Give Me company in
this dark and terrible hour. Listen well. Do not be afraid. I will guide
you. I order you to pray even in spite of your sufferings. Humanity
has united itself to the devil. I am shedding tears of blood for the
whole of humanity.

I have come to seek for shelter. Pray a great deal. Do it out of love.
Time is reaping what has been sown. Keep silence. It is not in vain.
My Sacrament under both species will be profaned with blasphemy.
I need the desire to repair. What a pain! I am forced to walk through
the streets with tears in My eyes! Do not leave Me alone. Pray and
expiate for evil.”

“I bless you.”

HOLY MASS READINGS FOR SEPTEMBER 24, 2024

Tuesday of  the Twenty Fifth Week in Ordinary Weekday  (Green)

LH: Office of the Day, Week I

Mass and Preface of the day

FIRST READING
Various sayings.
A reading from the Book of Proverbs (Proverbs 21:1-6.10-13)

The king’s heart is a stream of water in the hand of the Lord; he turns it wherever he will. Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the heart. To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. Haughty eyes and a proud heart, the lamp of the wicked, are sin. The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance, but every one who is hasty comes only to want. The getting of treasures by a lying tongue is a fleeing vapour and a snare of death. The soul of the wicked desires evil; his neighbour finds no mercy in his eyes. When a scoffer is punished, the simple becomes wise; when a wise man is instructed, he gains knowledge. The righteous observes the house of the nicked; the wicked are cast down to ruin. He who closes his ear to the cry of the poor will himself cry out and not be heard.

The word of the Lord.

“My mother and my brethren are those who hear the word of God and do it.”
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke (Luke 8: 19-21)

At that time: His mother and his brethren came to Jesus, but they could not reach him for the crowd. And he was told, “Your mother and your brethren are standing outside, desiring to see you.” But he said to them, “My mother and my brethren are those who hear the word of God and do it.”

HOLY MASS READINGS FOR SEPTEMBER 23, 2024

Monday of the Twenty Fifth Week in Ordinary Weekday (White)

Memorial of St. Pio of Pietrelcina(Padre Pio) Priest

LH: Office of the Memorial, Week I

Mass and Preface of the Memorial

FIRST READING
“The perverse man is an abomination to the Lord.”
A reading from the Book of Proverbs (Proverbs 3:27-34)

My son, do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to do it. Do not say to your neighbour, “Go, and come again, tomorrow I will give it” — when you have it with you. Do not plan evil against your neighbour who dwells trustingly beside you. Do not contend with a man for no reason, when he has done you no harm. Do not envy a man of violence and do not choose any of his ways; for the perverse man is an abomination to the Lord, but the upright are in his confidence. The Lord’s curse is on the house of the wicked, but he blesses the abode of the righteous. Towards the scorners he is scornful, but to the humble he shows favour.

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
Psalm15:2-3a.3bc-4ib.5 (R. see 1b)

R/. Who shall dwell on your holy mountain, O Lord?

Whoever walks without fault; who does what is just,
and speaks the truth from his heart.
Who does not slander with his tongue. R/.

Who does no wrong to a neighbour,
who casts no slur on a friend,
who looks with scorn on the wicked,
but honours those who fear the Lord. R/.

Who lends no money at interest,
and accepts no bribes against the innocent.
Such a one shall never be shaken. R/.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
Matthew 5: 16

Alleluia.

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father.

Alleluia.

GOSPEL
Place your light on a stand that those who enter may see the light.
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke (Luke 8: 16- 18)

At that time: Jesus said to the crowds, “No one after lighting a lamp covers it with a vessel, or puts it under a bed, but puts it on a stand, that those who enter may see the light. For nothing is hidden that shall not be made manifest, nor anything secret that shall not be known and come to light. Take heed then how you hear; for to him who has will more be given, and from him who has not, even what he thinks that he has will be taken away.”

KNEELING WITHOUT FEAR

Divine Appeal Reflection  - 128

Today, consider in Divine Appeal 128:  "In the sacrament of My Love I need you to kneel without fear."

More than a mere physical act, kneeling before the Eucharist is a profound display of inner submission to God's majesty. We fully surrender to God's will as we kneel, recognizing His greatness and our own limitations. Our humility before God and our dependence on His mercy are shown through this gesture. By assuming this position, we express with our bodies what our hearts believe—that Christ is truly present in the Eucharist, particularly during the Consecration at Mass, when the bread and wine become His Body and Blood. Kneeling during this sacred moment signifies our deep reverence and faith in this mystery.

Regrettably, many people in today's world no longer approach the Blessed Sacrament with the same reverence and purity. Jesus' words, "I need you to kneel without fear," reveal His sadness over the lack of respect and casual attitudes often observed in modern liturgical events. He urges us to restore the sacred act of kneeling, especially during the Consecration, as a reflection of our internal belief in His True Presence. Our kneeling must be sincere—a genuine act of devotion from the heart. Jesus also reminds us not to hesitate to adopt this humble posture, whether out of fear or societal pressures. Beyond the Consecration, it is crucial to kneel in adoration after partaking of Holy Communion, as we are united intimately with Jesus. This moment of kneeling is a profound gesture of thanksgiving and love for the divine gift of His Body and Blood. St. Paul teaches the duty of reverence, urging that every knee should bend at the name of Jesus, in heaven, on earth, and under the earth (Philippians 2:10).

Our Adorable Jesus encourages us to kneel without fear, setting aside doubt, hesitation, or apathy. In a world often overshadowed by secularism and spiritual indifference, Christ calls us to re-embrace a holy reverence—not one stemming from fear, but from awe of His magnificence and love. To kneel before the Eucharist without fear is an act of faith and confidence, acknowledging our unworthiness while accepting His divine mercy. This fearless devotion, particularly during the Consecration and after receiving Holy Communion, opens our hearts to Christ's grace, healing, and transformation. Additionally, Jesus desires us to spend time with Him in our daily lives. Making the effort to visit a Catholic church when passing by and briefly kneeling in adoration during our hectic schedules is a simple yet powerful display of love, inviting Jesus into every moment of our lives.

Prayer:

Our Adorable Jesus, with love and humility, we offer our hearts to Your divine plan. Fill us with grace and mercy, and fortify our faith. May our genuine reverence lead our adoration, trusting in Your boundless love and finding solace in Your sacred presence.

DIVINE APPEAL 128

ON THE EUCHARIST:A DIVINE APPEAL

(Revelation to Sr Anna Ali of the Most Holy Eucharist)

VOLUME 1

“... the powers of evil will break loose more for those who do not
sincerely detest their faults.”

“Prayer for atonement will do.”

“My daughter, I speak to you by the means of My Presence in the
Divine Sacrament. I beg you to pay debts of lost souls. In My Name
be calm and strong. Keep in mind that this is My difficult hour. I tell
you truly the time has come for the world to repent. My warning is
strict. It is not in order to condemn the world. On the contrary, I
want to save souls by My words. I must warn mankind in order to
avoid catastrophes. More than ever I am so much blasphemed and
abused. These times demand accelerated action because My pain
is immense. I come here to seek shelter.

If prayers and penances are not offered, the powers of evil will
break loose more for those who do not sincerely detest their faults.
Consummate yourself and transfigure yourself in Me that you may
be able to pray a great deal. Do not be afraid.

My daughter, do not be frightened of what I assure and reveal to
you. A just soul has to go through pains and hardships. Learn to
persevere. The devil is rolling over in order to get rid of souls. He
already knows that his time is short. He will cast his power in the
nations and in a given moment he will destroy the best part of the
flock.

... Sin has blindfolded and covered their eyes. Nothing can prevent
this harm. Prayers of atonement will do. Pray a great deal and do
penance. Offer your sufferings united to My Heart’s merits. Abandon
yourself completely in My call so that I may be able to act exactly as
I want in you. I reveal My desires to you. I need you by all means to
pray and finally all the evil ways will be in vain. In the sacrament of
My Love I need you to kneel without fear.”

“I give My blessings.”

HOLY MASS READINGS FOR SEPTEMBER 21, 2024

Saturday of the Twenty Fourth Week in Ordinary Time (Red)

Feast of St. Matthew the Apostle

LH: Office of the feast

Mass of the feast, Gloria, Preface of the Apostles

FIRST READING
His gifts were that some should be apostles, some evangelists,
A reading from the Letter of Saint Paul to the Ephesians (Ephesians 4: 1-7.11-13)

Brethren: I, a prisoner for the Lord, beg you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all lowliness and meekness, with patience, forbearing one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of us all, who is above all and through all and in all. But grace was given to each of us according to the measure of Christ’s gift. And his gifts were that some should be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, for the equipment of the saints, for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
Psalm 19:2-3.4-5 (R.5a)

R/. Their sound goes forth through all the earth.

The heavens declare the glory of God,
and the firmament proclaims the work of his hands.
Day unto day conveys the message,
and night unto night imparts the knowledge. R/.

No speech, no word, whose voice goes unheeded;
their sound goes forth through all the earth,
their message to the utmost bounds of the world. R/.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION

Alleluia.

We praise you, O God; we acclaim you as the Lord; the glorious band of apostles sings your praise, O Lord!

Alleluia.

GOSPEL
Follow me. And he rose and followed him.
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Matthew (Matthew 9:9-13)

At that time: As Jesus passed on, he saw a man called Matthew sitting at the tax office; and he said to him, “Follow me.” And he rose and followed him. And as he sat at table in the house, behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down with Jesus and his disciples. And when the Pharisees saw this, they said to his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?” But when he heard it, he said, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. Go and learn what this means, ‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice.’ For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.”

Twenty Fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time, Year B   (Green)

Mass of the Twenty Fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time

LH: Office of the Twenty Fifth Sunday, Week I

Gloria, Creed, Preface of Sundays in Ordinary Time

FIRST READING
“Let us condemn him to a shameful death.”
A reading from the Book of Wisdom (Wisdom 2:12.17-20)

[Ungodly men said:] “Let us lie in wait for the righteous man, because he is inconvenient to us and opposes our actions; he reproaches us for sins against the law, and accuses us of sins against our training. “Let us see if his words are true, and let us test what will happen at the end of his life; for if the righteous man is God’s son, he will help him, and will deliver him from the hand of his adversaries. Let us test him with insult and torture, that we may find out how gentle he is, and make trial of his forbearance. Let us condemn him to a shameful death, for, according to what he says, he will be protected.”

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
Psalm 54:3-4.5.6 and 8 (R. cf. 6b)

R/. Behold, the Lord is the upholder of my life.

O God, save me by your name;
by your power, defend my cause.
O God, hear my prayer;
give ear to the words of my mouth. R/.

For the proud have risen against me,
and the ruthless seek my life.
They have no regard for God. R/.

See, I have God for my help.
The Lord sustains my soul.
I will sacrifice to you with willing heart,
and praise your name, for it is good. R/.

SECOND READING
“The harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.”
A reading from the Letter of Saint James (James 3: 16-4:3)

Beloved: Where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice. But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, without uncertainty or insincerity. And the harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace. What causes wars, and what causes fighting among you? Is it not your passions that are at war in your members? You desire and do not have; so you kill. And you covet and cannot obtain; so you fight and wage war. You do not have, because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions.

The word of the Lord.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
2 Thessalonians 2:14

Alleluia.

God has called us through the Gospel, to obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Alleluia.

GOSPEL
“The Son of man will be delivered into the hands of men. If anyone would be first, he must be the servant of all.”
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Mark (Mark 9:30-37)

At that time: Jesus and his disciples went on from the mountain and passed through Galilee. And he would not have any one know it; for he was teaching his disciples, saying to them, “The Son of man will be delivered into the hands of men, and they will kill him; and when he is killed, after three days he will rise.” But they did not understand the saying, and they were afraid to ask him. And they came to Capemaum; and when he was in the house he asked them, “What were you discussing on the way?” But they were silent; for on the way they had discussed with one another who was the greatest. And he sat down and called the Twelve; and he said to them, “If any one would be first, he must be last of all and servant of all.” And he took a child, and put him in the midst of them; and taking him in his arms, he said to them, “Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me; and whoever receives me, receives not me but him who sent me.”

HOLY MASS READINGS FOR SEPTEMBER 20, 2024

Friday of the Twenty Fourth Week in Ordinary Weekday (Red)

Memorial of Sts. Andrew Kim Taegon, Priest, Paul Chong and Companions, Martyrs

LH: Office of the Memorial, Week IV

Mass and Preface of the Memorial

FIRST READING
“If Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile”
A reading from the first Letter of Saint Paul to the Corinthians (1 Corinthians 15:12-20)

Brethren: If Christ is preached as raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ has not been raised; if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain and your faith is in vain. We are even found to be misrepresenting God, because we testified of God that he raised .Christ, whom he did not raise if it is true that the dead are not raised. For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised. If Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins. Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. If for this life only we have hoped in Christ, we are of all men most to be pitied. But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep.

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
Psalm 17:1.6-7.8 and 15 (R. 15b)

R/. When I awake, I shall be filled with the vision of your presence, O Lord.

O Lord, hear a cause that is just,
pay heed to my cry.
Turn your ear to my prayer:
no deceit is on my lips. R/.

To you I call; for you will surely heed me,
O God. Turn your ear to me; hear my words.
Display your merciful love.
By your right hand you deliver from their foes
those who put their trust in you. R/.

Guard me as the apple of your eye.
Hide me in the shadow of your wings.
As for me, in justice I shall behold your face;
when I awake I shall be filled
with the vision of your presence. R/.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
Matthew 11:25

Alleluia.

Blessed are you, Father, Lord of heaven and. earth, that you have revealed to little ones the mysteries of the kingdom.

Alleluia.

GOSPEL
“There were women with them who provided for them out of their means.”
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke (Luke 8:1-3)

At that time: Jesus went on through cities and villages, preaching and bringing the good news of the kingdom of God. And the Twelve were with him, and also some women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities: Mary, called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone out, and Joanna, the wife of Chuza Herod’s steward, and Susanna, and many others, who provided for them out of their means.

JESUS' TEARS OF BLOOD OVER HUMANITY

Divine Appeal Reflection  - 127

Today, consider in Divine Appeal 127: "I pour My tears of blood over humanity. I need you to pray and listen to Me. I am so abused and blasphemed in the Sacrament of My Love."

Jesus' tears of blood symbolize the profound gravity of the situation facing humanity. These tears are not just figurative expressions of sadness, but they manifest the depth of His love and His immeasurable compassion for souls who have turned away from Him. The world's sins, particularly the disrespect and doubt toward Jesus' real presence in the Holy Eucharist, have a profoundly piercing effect on His Sacred Heart, which is overflowing with an unfathomable love for all humanity. His tender, merciful love endures immense pain from the indifference and lack of faith shown to this most holy mystery.

In the Eucharist, our Adorable Jesus remains with us in the most intimate and profound way possible—Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity. He chose this sacrament as a means to continue His saving work, to feed His people with the Bread of Life, and to be a source of divine grace and strength. All souls continue to receive the unlimited love and mercy of Jesus in this humble sacramental way, the same Jesus who gave Himself on the Cross for our redemption.

Yet, in the face of this divine gift, many have turned away. Jesus's tears of blood reflect His sorrow over the widespread lack of faith in His Eucharistic Presence. The same Lord who gave everything on the Cross is ignored, forgotten, or treated with indifference. Irreverence in approaching the Blessed Sacrament, neglect in attending Mass, and even outright blasphemy grieve His Sacred Heart in a profound way. His love is unchanging, but the wounds inflicted by these offenses cause Him deep pain. Despite the offenses committed against Him, our Adorable Jesus does not cease to love. His tears of blood are not tears of hopelessness, but of compassion. Every tear signifies His longing to save, heal, and bring back the souls who have wandered far from Him. Jesus continues to be the Good Shepherd who looks for lost sheep and wants to bring them back to safety, even in His grief.

Through His bloody tears, our Adorable Jesus invites us to reestablish our reverence for His real Presence in the Sacrament of His Love, therefore healing His wounded Heart. He calls us to adore, love, and recommit ourselves to His real presence in the Blessed Sacrament, an everlasting source of grace and mercy. As we consider His great anguish, let us respond to His divine appeal by deepening our Eucharistic bond with Him and atoning for the transgressions committed against Him. By doing this, we turn into His merciful vessels, bringing comfort to His Heart and healing to the entire world.

Prayer

Adorable Jesus, we humbly adore Your Sacred Presence in the Holy Eucharist. Through Your tears of blood, draw us closer to Your infinite mercy and grant us the grace to console Your wounded Heart. Inspire within us a deep love for You and bring about the conversion of sinners through Your boundless compassion.

DIVINE APPEAL 127

ON THE EUCHARIST:A DIVINE APPEAL

(Revelation to Sr Anna Ali of the Most Holy Eucharist)

VOLUME 1

“I have chosen you...”

“My daughter, pray a great deal and spend this dark and terrible hour
with Me. Do not leave Me alone. I come here to seek a shade. You
are a victim. I have chosen you to kneel before My Presence in the
Divine Sacrament to repair for the offences and dress the wounds
I receive from all the world where I remain a prisoner in the
tabernacle for the sake of mankind. If you listen to My voice of
cry for souls, I will also listen to your voice of cry for souls.
Share My love and sorrow. Do not be afraid. I keep My promises.
I am thirsting for souls. It is My great love for mankind that keeps
Me waiting and calling back. Time is approaching. I am in search
for souls. In your prayers bring Me souls. Keep Me company. I pour
My tears of blood over humanity. I need you to pray and listen to
Me. I am so abused and blasphemed in the Sacrament of My Love.

Suffer and learn. The more you suffer for My sake the more I love
you. I assure you that nothing on earth that you do can please Me
more than letting Me speak to you and listen. Think of Me in the
tabernacle wherever you are and whatever you do here on earth.

For this will console Me and will be of great help in dressing the
wounds caused by the souls consecrated to Me. I receive all your
prayers whether you think in your heart or speak them aloud. As
I am exposed I will pour the treasures of My infinite mercy into
human souls.”

“I give My blessing.”

Mass and Preface of the day or Memorial

FIRST READING
“So we preached and so you believed.”
A reading from the first Letter of Saint Paul to the Corinthians (1 Corinthians 15:1-11)

I would remind you, brethren, in what terms I preached to you the gospel, which you received, in which you stand, by which you are saved, if you hold it fast — unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the Twelve. Then he appeared to more than five hundred brethren at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles. Last of all, as to one untimely born, he appeared also to me. For I am the least of the apostles, unfit to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the Church of God. But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace towards me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the grace of God which is with me. Whether then it was I or they, so we preach and so you believed.

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
Psalm 118: 1-2.15c-17.28 (R. 1a)

R/. Give praise to the Lord, for he is good.

Give praise to the Lord, for he is good;
his mercy endures forever.
Let the house of Israel say,
“His mercy endures forever.” R/.

“The LORD s right hand has done mighty deeds;
his right hand is exalted.
The Lord’s right hand has done mighty deeds.”
I shall not die, I shall live
and recount the deeds of the Lord. R/.

You are my God, I praise you.
My God, I exalt you. R/.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
Matthew 11:28

Alleluia.

Come to me, all who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest, says the Lord.

Alleluia.

GOSPEL
“Her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much.”
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke (Luke 7:36-50)

At that time: One of the Pharisees asked Jesus to eat with him, and he went into the Pharisee’s house, and sat at table. And behold, a woman of the city, who was a sinner, when she learnt that he was sitting at table in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster flask of ointment, and standing behind him at his feet, weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment. Now when the Pharisee who had invited him saw it, he said to himself, If this man were a prophet, he would have known who and what sort of woman this is who is touching him, for she is a sinner.” And Jesus answering said to him, “Simon; I have something to say to you.” And he answered, “What is it, Teacher?” “A certain creditor had two debtors; one owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. When they could not pay, he forgave them both. Now which of them will love him more?” Simon answered, “The one, I suppose, to whom he forgave more.” And he said to him, “You have judged rightly.” Then turning towards the woman he said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I entered your house, you gave me no water for my feet, but she has wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair. You gave me no kiss, but from the time I came in she has not ceased to kiss my feet. You did not anoint my head with oil, but she has anointed my feet with ointment. Therefore I tell you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much; but he who is forgiven little, loves little.” And he said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.” Then those who were at table with him began to say among themselves, “Who is this, who even forgives sins?” And he said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”

HOLY MASS READINGS FOR SEPTEMBER 18, 2024

Wednesday of  the Twenty Fourth Week in Ordinary Weekday  (Green)

LH: Office of the Day, Week IV

Mass and Preface of the day

FIRST READING
“So faith, hope, love abide, these three, but the greatest of these is love.”
A reading from the first Letter of Saint Paul to the Corinthians (1 Corinthians 12:31-13:13)

Brethren: Earnestly desire the higher gifts. And I will show you a still more excellent way. If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver my body to be burnt, but have not love, I gain nothing. Love is patient and kind; love is not jealous or boastful; it is not arrogant or rude. Love does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrong, but rejoices in the right. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends; as for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away. For our knowledge is imperfect and our prophecy is imperfect; but when the perfect comes, the imperfect will pass away. When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child; when I became a man, I gave up childish ways. For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall understand fully, even as I have been fully understood. So faith, hope, love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
Psalm 33 :2-3.4-5. 12 and 22 (R. 12b)

R/. Blessed the people the Lord has chosen as his heritage.

Give thanks to the Lord upon the harp;
with a ten-stringed lute sing him songs.
O sing him a song that is new;
play skilfully, with shouts of joy. R/.

For the word of the Lord is faithful,
and all his works to be trusted.
The Lord loves justice and right,
and his merciful love fills the earth. R/.

Blessed the nation whose God is the Lord,
the people he has chosen as his heritage.
May your merciful love be upon us,
as we hope in you, O Lord. R/.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
John 6:63c.68c

Alleluia.

Your words, Lord, are Spirit and life; you have the words of eternal life.

Alleluia.

GOSPEL
“We piped to you, and you did not dance, we wailed, and you did not weep.”
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke (Luke 7:31-35)

At that time: Jesus said, “To what then shall I compare the men of this generation, and what are they like? They are like children sitting in the market place and calling to one another, ‘We piped to you, and you did not dance; we wailed, and you did not weep.’ For John the Baptist has come eating no bread and drinking no wine; and you say, ‘He has a demon.’ The Son of man has come eating and drinking; and you say, ‘Behold, a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners! Yet wisdom is justified by all her children.”

JESUS' NEED FOR EVERY SOUL

Divine Appeal Reflection  - 126

Today, consider in Divine Appeal 126: "I have dwelt in the tabernacles for centuries waiting and longing for souls. I need every soul as if it was the only one on earth."

Every soul is a masterpiece fashioned by the hand of God, created with a specific purpose and adorned with distinct beauty. The value of a soul is not measured by fleeting worldly standards but by the eternal love of our Adorable Jesus. He treasures each soul as though it were the only one in existence, showing that His love is not distant or abstract, but deeply personal and intimate. Jesus' mercy knows no bounds, and His arms are always open to welcome us, regardless of our situations or feelings. As He longs to heal, pardon, and restore us in the Blessed Sacrament, we are never beyond the grasp of His Real Presence (cf. Luke 15:4-7; Matthew 18:12-14).

God has given each of us special abilities, missions, and gifts that further demonstrate how special each soul is. Our Adorable Jesus, as St. Teresa of Avila reminds us, calls us to be His hands, His feet, His voice on earth. “Christ has no body now but yours,” she says, inviting us to live out the unique vocation that glorifies Him. Jesus patiently waits for each of us to embrace this holy call, knowing that through our fidelity to His will, His divine plan unfolds perfectly. Every soul has a vital role in the great work of redemption, and our Lord desires nothing less than our cooperation in this sacred mission (cf. 1 Corinthians 12:4-6; Romans 12:4-8).

In His Eucharistic Presence, Christ loves us not as faceless beings, but as beloved children, known by name, cherished in our individuality. In the Eucharist, Jesus calls each of us into a profound relationship with Him, offering His infinite love and mercy. His Real Presence in the Blessed Sacrament waits for our response through prayer, adoration, and a life lived in His grace. Jesus reassures each of us with comforting words, reminding us not to be afraid, for He has redeemed us. He calls us personally, knowing us by name, and claims us as His own (cf. Isaiah 43:1; John 10:3).

Prayer

O Adorable Jesus, present in the Blessed Sacrament, help us to recognize the unique purpose You have for our souls. May we respond to Your call with faith and love, consoling Your heart through prayer, adoration, and lives of grace. Draw us ever closer to Your Real Presence.

Sr. Anna Ali of the Most Holy Eucharist, intercede for us.

HOLY MASS READINGS FOR SEPTEMBER 17, 2024

Tuesday of  the Twenty Fourth Week in Ordinary Weekday           (Green)

Optional Memorial of St. Robert Bellarmine, Bishop and Doctor   (White)

LH: Office of the Day or Memorial, Week IV

Mass and Preface of the day or Memorial

FIRST READING
“Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it.”
A reading from the first Letter of Saint Paul to the Corinthians (1 Corinthians 12:12-14.27-31a)

Brethren: Just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptised into one body — Jews or Greeks, slaves or free — and all were made to drink of one Spirit. For the body does not consist of one member but of many. Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it. And God has appointed in the Church first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then workers of miracles, then healers, helpers, administrators, speakers in various kinds of tongues. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? Do all possess gifts of healing? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret? But earnestly desire the higher gifts.

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
PS 100:1-2.3.4.5 (R.3c)

R/. We are his people, the sheep of his flock.

Cry out with joy to the Lord, all the earth.
Serve the Lord with gladness.
Come before him, singing for joy. R/.

Know that he, the Lord, is God.
He made us; we belong to him.
We are his people, the sheep of his flock. R/.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with songs of praise.
Give thanks to him, and bless his name. R/.

Indeed, how good is the Lord,
eternal his merciful love.
He is faithful from age to age. R/.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
Luke 7:16

Alleluia.

A great prophet has arisen among us, and God has visited his people.

Alleluia.

GOSPEL
“Young man, I say to you, arise.”
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke (Luke 7:11- 17)

At that time: Jesus went to a city called Nain, and his disciples and a great crowd went with him. As he drew near to the gate of the city, behold, a man who had died was being carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow; and a large crowd from the city was with her. And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her and said to her, “Do not weep.” And he came and touched the bier, and the bearers stood still. And he said, “Young man, I say to you, arise.” And the dead man sat up, and began to speak. And he gave him to his mother. Fear seized them all; and they glorified God, saying, “A great prophet has arisen among us!” and “God has visited his people! ” And this report concerning him spread through the whole of Judea and all the surrounding country.

HOLY MASS READINGS FOR SEPTEMBER 16, 2024

Monday of the Twenty Fourth Week in Ordinary Weekday (Red)

Memorial of St. Cornelius Pope, Martyr and St. Cyprian, Bishop, Martyr

LH: Office of the Memorial, Week IV

Mass and Preface of the Memorial

FIRST READING
When there are factions among you, it is not the Lord’s Supper that you eat.
A reading from the first Letter of Saint Paul to the Corinthians (1 Corinthians 11:17-26.33)

Brethren: In the following instructions I do not commend you, because when you come together it is not for the better but for the worse. For, in the first place, when you assemble as a Church, I hear that there are divisions among you; and I partly believe it, for there must be factions among you in order that those who are genuine among’ you may be recognised. When you meet together, it is not the Lord’s Supper that you eat. For in eating, each one goes ahead with his own meal, and one is hungry and another is drunk. What! Do you not have houses to eat and drink in? Or do you despise the Church of God and humiliate those who have nothing? What shall I say to you? Shall I commend you in this? No, I will not. For I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread, and. when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, “This is my body which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way also the chalice, after supper, saying, “This chalice is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.” For as often as you eat this bread and drink the chalice, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes. So then, my brethren, when you come together to eat, wait for one another.

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
Ps 40:7-8a.8b-9.10. 17 (R. 1 Cor 11:26b)

R/. Proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.

You delight not in sacrifice and offerings,
but in an open ear.
You do not ask for holocaust and victim.
Then I said, “See, I have come.” R/.

In the scroll of the book it stands written of me:
“I delight to do your will, O my God;
your instruction lies deep within me.” R/.

Your justice I have proclaimed
in the great assembly.
My lips I have not sealed
you know it, O Lord. R/.

O let there be rejoicing and gladness
for all who seek you.
Let them ever say, “The Lord is great,”
who long for your salvation. R/.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
John 3:16

Alleluia.

God so loved the world that he gave his only-begotten Son; that whoever believes in him should have eternal life.

Alleluia.

GOSPEL
“Not even in Israel have I found such faith. ”
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke (Luke 7: 1-10)

At that time: After Jesus had ended all his sayings in the hearing of the people he entered Capernaum. Now a centurion had a slave who was dear to him, who was sick and at the point of death. When he heard of Jesus, he sent to him elders of the Jews, asking him to come and heal his slave. And when they came to Jesus, they begged him earnestly, saying, “He is worthy to have you do this for him, for he loves our nation, and he built us our synagogue." And Jesus went with them. When he was not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, saying to him, “Lord, do not trouble yourself, for I am not worthy to have you come under my roof; therefore I did not presume to come to you. But say the word, and let my servant be healed. For I am a man set under authority, with soldiers under me: and I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my slave, ‘Do this, ’ and he does it.” When Jesus heard this he marvelled at him, and turned and said to the multitude that followed him, “I tell you, not even in Israel have I found such faith.” And when those who had been sent returned to the house, they found the slave well.

DIVINE APPEAL 126

ON THE EUCHARIST:A DIVINE APPEAL

(Revelation to Sr Anna Ali of the Most Holy Eucharist)

VOLUME 1

“I have dwelt in the tabernacle for centuries, waiting and longing
for souls.”

“My daughter, pray a great deal and watch with Me in this terrible
hour. Do not leave Me alone. Keep Me in silence. Do not be tired
of praying. Bring Me souls. I need you to make reparation. The
souls I love so much do not understand to what extent. Pray more.
You are a victim in the Sacrament of My Love. I have dwelt in the
tabernacles for centuries waiting and longing for souls. I need
every soul as if it was the only one on earth. Pray a great deal.
Do not waste any of this precious time. I have given all of Myself
to mankind. My joy is to forgive.

With an anguished heart I beg for prayers. What a pain, souls are
falling into perdition at each and every moment. I do not want anyone
to perish. Time is approaching. My Divine Mercy is followed by
Divine Justice.”

“I bless you.”

HOLY MASS READINGS FOR SEPTEMBER 15, 2024

Twenty Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time, Year B   (Green)

Mass of the Twenty Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time

LH: Office of the Twenty Fourth Sunday, Week IV

Gloria, Creed, Preface of Sundays in Ordinary Time

FIRST READING
“I gave my back to those who struck me.”
A reading from the Book of Isaiah (Isaiah 50:5-9a)

The lord God has opened my ear, and I was not rebellious, turned not backward, I gave my back to those who struck me and turned not my cheek to those who pulled out the beard; I hid not my face from shame and spitting. For the Lord GOD helps me; therefore I have not been confounded; therefore I have set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be put to shame; he who vindicates me is near. Who will contend with me? Let us stand up together. Who is my adversary? Let him come near to me. Behold, the Lord GOD helps me; who will declare me guilty?

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
Psalm 116:1-2.3-4.5-6.8—9 (R. 9)

R/. I will walk in the presence of the Lord in the land of the living.

I love the Lord, for he has heard my voice, my appeal;
for he has turned his ear to me whenever I call. R/.

They surrounded me, the snares of death;
the anguish of the grave has found me;
anguish and sorrow I found.
I called on the name of the Lord:
“Deliver my soul, O Lord!” R/.

How gracious is the Lord,
and just; our God has compassion.
The Lord protects the simple;
I was brought low, and he saved me. R/.

He has kept my soul from death,
my eyes from tears, and my feet from stumbling.
I will walk in the presence of the LORD
in the land of the living. R/.

SECOND READING
“Faith by itself, if it has no works, is dead.”
A reading from the Letter of Saint James (James 2: 14-1 8)

What does it profit, my brethren, if a man says he has faith but has not works? Can his faith Save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and in lack of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what does it profit? So faith by itself, if it has no works, is dead. But some one will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith apart from your works, and I by my works will show you my faith.

The word of the Lord.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
Galatians 6:14

Alleluia.

Far be it from me to glory except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

Alleluia.

GOSPEL
“you are the Christ… the Son of man must suffer many things.”
A reading from the holy Gospel according to mark (Mark 8:27-35)

At that time: Jesus went on with his disciples, to the villages of Caesarea Philippi; and on the way he asked his disciples, “who do men say that I am?” and they told him, “John the Baptist; and others say, Elijah; and others one of the prophets.” And he asked them, “But who do you say that I am?” Peter answered him, “you are the Christ.” And he charged them to tell no one about him. And he began to teach them that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders and the chief priests and the scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again. And he said, “get behind me, Satan! For you are not on the side of God, but of men and he called to him the multitude with his disciples and said to them, “If any man would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it; and whoever loses his life for my sake and the Gospel’s will save it.”

HOLY MASS READINGS FOR SEPTEMBER 14, 2024

Saturday of the Twenty Third Week in Ordinary Weekday   (Red)

Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross

LH: Office of the feast

Mass of the feast, Gloria, Preface of the Triumph of the Cross or the Passion of the Lord I

FIRST READING
Every one who is bitten, when he sees it, shall live.
A reading from the Book of Numbers (Numbers 21:4b-9)

In those days: The people became impatient on the way. And the people spoke against God and against Moses, “Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no food and no water, and we loathe this worthless food.” Then the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people, so that many sons of Israel died. And the people came to Moses, and said, “We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord and against you; pray to the Lord, that he take away the serpents from us.” So Moses prayed for the people. And the Lord said to Moses, “Make a fiery serpent, and set up as a sign; and every one who is bitten, when he sees it, shall live.” So Moses made a bronze serpent, and set it up as a sign; and if a serpent bit any man, he would look at the bronze serpent and live.

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
Ps78:I-2.34-35.36—37.38 (R. cf.7b)

R/. Never forget the deeds of the Lord!

Give ear, my people, to my teaching;
incline your ear to the words of my mouth.
I will open my mouth in a parable
And utter hidden lessons of the past. R/.

When he slew them, then they sought him,
repented and earnestly sought God.
They would remember that God was their rock,
God the Most High their redeemer. R/.

Yet they deceived him with their mouths;
they lied to him with their tongues.
For their hearts were not steadfast towards him;
They were not faithful to his covenant. R/.

Yet he who is full of compassion
Forgave them their sin and spared them.
So often he held back his anger,
and did not stir up all his rage. R/.

SECOND READING
He humbled himself, therefore God has exalted him.
A reading from the Letter of Saint Paul to the Philippians (Philippians 2:6-11)

Christ Jesus, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

The word of the Lord.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION

Alleluia.

We adore you, O Christ, and we bless you, because by your Cross you have redeemed the world.

Alleluia

GOSPEL
The Son of man must be lifted up.
A reading from the holy Gospel according to John (John 3:13-17)

At that time: Jesus said to Nicodemus, “No one has ascended into heaven but he who descended from heaven, the Son of man. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of man be lifted up, that who ever believes in him may have eternal life.” For God so loved the world that he gave his only-begotten Son, that who ever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God sent the Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him.

The Gospel of the Lord.
