HOLY MASS READINGS FOR SEPTEMBER 17, 2024

Tuesday of  the Twenty Fourth Week in Ordinary Weekday           (Green)

Optional Memorial of St. Robert Bellarmine, Bishop and Doctor   (White)

LH: Office of the Day or Memorial, Week IV

Mass and Preface of the day or Memorial

FIRST READING
“Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it.”
A reading from the first Letter of Saint Paul to the Corinthians (1 Corinthians 12:12-14.27-31a)

Brethren: Just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptised into one body — Jews or Greeks, slaves or free — and all were made to drink of one Spirit. For the body does not consist of one member but of many. Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it. And God has appointed in the Church first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then workers of miracles, then healers, helpers, administrators, speakers in various kinds of tongues. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? Do all possess gifts of healing? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret? But earnestly desire the higher gifts.

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
PS 100:1-2.3.4.5 (R.3c)

R/. We are his people, the sheep of his flock.

Cry out with joy to the Lord, all the earth.
Serve the Lord with gladness.
Come before him, singing for joy. R/.

Know that he, the Lord, is God.
He made us; we belong to him.
We are his people, the sheep of his flock. R/.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with songs of praise.
Give thanks to him, and bless his name. R/.

Indeed, how good is the Lord,
eternal his merciful love.
He is faithful from age to age. R/.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
Luke 7:16

Alleluia.

A great prophet has arisen among us, and God has visited his people.

Alleluia.

GOSPEL
“Young man, I say to you, arise.”
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke (Luke 7:11- 17)

At that time: Jesus went to a city called Nain, and his disciples and a great crowd went with him. As he drew near to the gate of the city, behold, a man who had died was being carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow; and a large crowd from the city was with her. And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her and said to her, “Do not weep.” And he came and touched the bier, and the bearers stood still. And he said, “Young man, I say to you, arise.” And the dead man sat up, and began to speak. And he gave him to his mother. Fear seized them all; and they glorified God, saying, “A great prophet has arisen among us!” and “God has visited his people! ” And this report concerning him spread through the whole of Judea and all the surrounding country.

HOLY MASS READINGS FOR SEPTEMBER 16, 2024

Monday of the Twenty Fourth Week in Ordinary Weekday (Red)

Memorial of St. Cornelius Pope, Martyr and St. Cyprian, Bishop, Martyr

LH: Office of the Memorial, Week IV

Mass and Preface of the Memorial

FIRST READING
When there are factions among you, it is not the Lord’s Supper that you eat.
A reading from the first Letter of Saint Paul to the Corinthians (1 Corinthians 11:17-26.33)

Brethren: In the following instructions I do not commend you, because when you come together it is not for the better but for the worse. For, in the first place, when you assemble as a Church, I hear that there are divisions among you; and I partly believe it, for there must be factions among you in order that those who are genuine among’ you may be recognised. When you meet together, it is not the Lord’s Supper that you eat. For in eating, each one goes ahead with his own meal, and one is hungry and another is drunk. What! Do you not have houses to eat and drink in? Or do you despise the Church of God and humiliate those who have nothing? What shall I say to you? Shall I commend you in this? No, I will not. For I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread, and. when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, “This is my body which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way also the chalice, after supper, saying, “This chalice is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.” For as often as you eat this bread and drink the chalice, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes. So then, my brethren, when you come together to eat, wait for one another.

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
Ps 40:7-8a.8b-9.10. 17 (R. 1 Cor 11:26b)

R/. Proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.

You delight not in sacrifice and offerings,
but in an open ear.
You do not ask for holocaust and victim.
Then I said, “See, I have come.” R/.

In the scroll of the book it stands written of me:
“I delight to do your will, O my God;
your instruction lies deep within me.” R/.

Your justice I have proclaimed
in the great assembly.
My lips I have not sealed
you know it, O Lord. R/.

O let there be rejoicing and gladness
for all who seek you.
Let them ever say, “The Lord is great,”
who long for your salvation. R/.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
John 3:16

Alleluia.

God so loved the world that he gave his only-begotten Son; that whoever believes in him should have eternal life.

Alleluia.

GOSPEL
“Not even in Israel have I found such faith. ”
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke (Luke 7: 1-10)

At that time: After Jesus had ended all his sayings in the hearing of the people he entered Capernaum. Now a centurion had a slave who was dear to him, who was sick and at the point of death. When he heard of Jesus, he sent to him elders of the Jews, asking him to come and heal his slave. And when they came to Jesus, they begged him earnestly, saying, “He is worthy to have you do this for him, for he loves our nation, and he built us our synagogue." And Jesus went with them. When he was not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, saying to him, “Lord, do not trouble yourself, for I am not worthy to have you come under my roof; therefore I did not presume to come to you. But say the word, and let my servant be healed. For I am a man set under authority, with soldiers under me: and I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my slave, ‘Do this, ’ and he does it.” When Jesus heard this he marvelled at him, and turned and said to the multitude that followed him, “I tell you, not even in Israel have I found such faith.” And when those who had been sent returned to the house, they found the slave well.

DIVINE APPEAL 126

ON THE EUCHARIST:A DIVINE APPEAL

(Revelation to Sr Anna Ali of the Most Holy Eucharist)

VOLUME 1

“I have dwelt in the tabernacle for centuries, waiting and longing
for souls.”

“My daughter, pray a great deal and watch with Me in this terrible
hour. Do not leave Me alone. Keep Me in silence. Do not be tired
of praying. Bring Me souls. I need you to make reparation. The
souls I love so much do not understand to what extent. Pray more.
You are a victim in the Sacrament of My Love. I have dwelt in the
tabernacles for centuries waiting and longing for souls. I need
every soul as if it was the only one on earth. Pray a great deal.
Do not waste any of this precious time. I have given all of Myself
to mankind. My joy is to forgive.

With an anguished heart I beg for prayers. What a pain, souls are
falling into perdition at each and every moment. I do not want anyone
to perish. Time is approaching. My Divine Mercy is followed by
Divine Justice.”

“I bless you.”

HOLY MASS READINGS FOR SEPTEMBER 15, 2024

Twenty Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time, Year B   (Green)

Mass of the Twenty Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time

LH: Office of the Twenty Fourth Sunday, Week IV

Gloria, Creed, Preface of Sundays in Ordinary Time

FIRST READING
“I gave my back to those who struck me.”
A reading from the Book of Isaiah (Isaiah 50:5-9a)

The lord God has opened my ear, and I was not rebellious, turned not backward, I gave my back to those who struck me and turned not my cheek to those who pulled out the beard; I hid not my face from shame and spitting. For the Lord GOD helps me; therefore I have not been confounded; therefore I have set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be put to shame; he who vindicates me is near. Who will contend with me? Let us stand up together. Who is my adversary? Let him come near to me. Behold, the Lord GOD helps me; who will declare me guilty?

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
Psalm 116:1-2.3-4.5-6.8—9 (R. 9)

R/. I will walk in the presence of the Lord in the land of the living.

I love the Lord, for he has heard my voice, my appeal;
for he has turned his ear to me whenever I call. R/.

They surrounded me, the snares of death;
the anguish of the grave has found me;
anguish and sorrow I found.
I called on the name of the Lord:
“Deliver my soul, O Lord!” R/.

How gracious is the Lord,
and just; our God has compassion.
The Lord protects the simple;
I was brought low, and he saved me. R/.

He has kept my soul from death,
my eyes from tears, and my feet from stumbling.
I will walk in the presence of the LORD
in the land of the living. R/.

SECOND READING
“Faith by itself, if it has no works, is dead.”
A reading from the Letter of Saint James (James 2: 14-1 8)

What does it profit, my brethren, if a man says he has faith but has not works? Can his faith Save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and in lack of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what does it profit? So faith by itself, if it has no works, is dead. But some one will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith apart from your works, and I by my works will show you my faith.

The word of the Lord.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
Galatians 6:14

Alleluia.

Far be it from me to glory except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

Alleluia.

GOSPEL
“you are the Christ… the Son of man must suffer many things.”
A reading from the holy Gospel according to mark (Mark 8:27-35)

At that time: Jesus went on with his disciples, to the villages of Caesarea Philippi; and on the way he asked his disciples, “who do men say that I am?” and they told him, “John the Baptist; and others say, Elijah; and others one of the prophets.” And he asked them, “But who do you say that I am?” Peter answered him, “you are the Christ.” And he charged them to tell no one about him. And he began to teach them that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders and the chief priests and the scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again. And he said, “get behind me, Satan! For you are not on the side of God, but of men and he called to him the multitude with his disciples and said to them, “If any man would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it; and whoever loses his life for my sake and the Gospel’s will save it.”

HOLY MASS READINGS FOR SEPTEMBER 14, 2024

Saturday of the Twenty Third Week in Ordinary Weekday   (Red)

Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross

LH: Office of the feast

Mass of the feast, Gloria, Preface of the Triumph of the Cross or the Passion of the Lord I

FIRST READING
Every one who is bitten, when he sees it, shall live.
A reading from the Book of Numbers (Numbers 21:4b-9)

In those days: The people became impatient on the way. And the people spoke against God and against Moses, “Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no food and no water, and we loathe this worthless food.” Then the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people, so that many sons of Israel died. And the people came to Moses, and said, “We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord and against you; pray to the Lord, that he take away the serpents from us.” So Moses prayed for the people. And the Lord said to Moses, “Make a fiery serpent, and set up as a sign; and every one who is bitten, when he sees it, shall live.” So Moses made a bronze serpent, and set it up as a sign; and if a serpent bit any man, he would look at the bronze serpent and live.

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
Ps78:I-2.34-35.36—37.38 (R. cf.7b)

R/. Never forget the deeds of the Lord!

Give ear, my people, to my teaching;
incline your ear to the words of my mouth.
I will open my mouth in a parable
And utter hidden lessons of the past. R/.

When he slew them, then they sought him,
repented and earnestly sought God.
They would remember that God was their rock,
God the Most High their redeemer. R/.

Yet they deceived him with their mouths;
they lied to him with their tongues.
For their hearts were not steadfast towards him;
They were not faithful to his covenant. R/.

Yet he who is full of compassion
Forgave them their sin and spared them.
So often he held back his anger,
and did not stir up all his rage. R/.

SECOND READING
He humbled himself, therefore God has exalted him.
A reading from the Letter of Saint Paul to the Philippians (Philippians 2:6-11)

Christ Jesus, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

The word of the Lord.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION

Alleluia.

We adore you, O Christ, and we bless you, because by your Cross you have redeemed the world.

Alleluia

GOSPEL
The Son of man must be lifted up.
A reading from the holy Gospel according to John (John 3:13-17)

At that time: Jesus said to Nicodemus, “No one has ascended into heaven but he who descended from heaven, the Son of man. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of man be lifted up, that who ever believes in him may have eternal life.” For God so loved the world that he gave his only-begotten Son, that who ever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God sent the Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him.

The Gospel of the Lord.

SERVICE ROOTED IN THE LOVE FOR JESUS

Divine Appeal Reflection  - 125

Today, consider in Divine Appeal 125: "Do not be afraid. Serve Me and give Me shelter in which to rest. It is time to pray and reach the consciences of souls."

To be a faithful friend of our Adorable Jesus is to accept His humble and unselfish example. Jesus showed us that genuine greatness comes from serving others in humility, even as the King of Kings. He taught His disciples that the greatest among them should serve others, a lesson He exemplified by washing their feet (John 13:14–15). Serving Jesus in this life entails taking on a meek attitude and considering the interests of others before our own. We serve our Adorable Jesus when we assist those in need, comfort the grieving, and uplift the hopeless.

Serving our Adorable Jesus begins with loving Him deeply. We serve Him because we adore Him and know that He is the source of all goodness and grace. His love for us, shown through His sacrifice, moves us to serve Him in return. This love changes the way we live, making every moment a chance to serve Jesus. When we serve others, whether through small acts of kindness or helping those in need, we are serving our Adorable Jesus. We assume the role of Christ's hands and feet in the world, demonstrating His service and love by deeds.

Service also calls us to sacrifice. We are called to give of ourselves in service to Jesus and others, just as He gave all for us. To assist someone in need, we may have to give up our comfort, time, or resources. It might mean bearing with patience and love the difficulties we encounter in serving others. Every sacrifice made in love is an offering to our Adorable Jesus, who sees and cherishes even the smallest act done for His glory. May we give our all to our Adorable Jesus, giving Him every act of kindness, humility, and sacrifice as a gift to Him. May we constantly keep in mind that by serving the least of His brethren, we are actually serving Christ Himself, and may our lives be a reflection of His love.

Prayer

O Adorable Jesus, may Your love and humility dwell deeply in our hearts. Teach us to serve You in every act of kindness, sacrifice, and compassion. Help us to see You in those we serve and guide us to follow Your example of self-giving love. May our lives glorify You always.

DIVINE APPEAL 125

ON THE EUCHARIST:A DIVINE APPEAL

(Revelation to Sr Anna Ali of the Most Holy Eucharist)

VOLUME 1

“Bending over the world I shed tears of blood.”

“My daughter, pray a great deal. I come here to seek prayers. Listen
to Me. I am leading you along a lengthy road in the Sacrament of My
Love. I am terribly wounded by many swords from the souls I love
so much. I need you to dress My wounds. I give you strength to pray.
I will show you a long path of pain and toil. You will have to follow
Me for the good of souls. Bending over the world I shed My tears of
blood and with it I want to cover this corrupt world. Pray a great deal
to appease the wrath of My Eternal Father. My own... do not know
how much pain they cause Me.

In the Sacrament of My Love, listen to Me and make others listen to
Me. I am thirsting for souls. Pray and cloister them in your heart. I
will bring you souls from one end of the earth to the other. Do not be
afraid. Serve Me and give Me shelter in which to rest.

It is time to pray and reach the consciences of souls. I am warning
them through My Divine Mercy which is followed by My Divine
Justice. I need the desire of reparation. Heed My words. The evil
spirits are plunging deeper into darkness. Every soul is to be saved.
What more could I have suffered for mankind yet I suffered all the
pain. Keep Me in silence. Pray to bring Me souls. Be at peace.

I bless My work. It is for the salvation of souls. This is a serious
moment.”

“I bless you.”

HOLY MASS READINGS FOR SEPTEMBER 13, 2024

Friday of the Twenty Third Week in Ordinary Weekday (White)

Memorial of St. John Chrysostom, Bishop and Doctor

LH: Office of the Memorial, Week III

Mass and Preface of the Memorial

FIRST READING
“I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.”
A reading from the first Letter of Saint Paul to the Corinthians (1 Corinthians 9:16- 19.22b-27)

Brethren: If I preach the gospel, that gives me no ground for boasting. For necessity is laid upon me. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel! For if I do this of my own will, I have a reward; but if not of my own will, I am entrusted with a commission. What then is my reward? Just this: that in my preaching I may make the gospel free of charge, not making full use of my right in the gospel. For though I am free from all men, I have made myself a slave to all, that I might win the more. I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. I do it all for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings. Do you not know that in a race all the runners compete, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it. Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we are imperishable. Well, I do not run aimlessly, I do not box as one beating the air; but I pommel my body and subdue it, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified.

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
Psalm 84:3.4.5—6.12 (R. 2)

R/. How lovely is your dwelling place, O Lord of hosts!

My soul is longing and
yearning for the courts of the Lord.
My heart and my flesh cry
out to the living God. R/.

Even the sparrow finds a home,
and the swallow a nest for herself
in which she sets her young, at your altars,
O Lord of hosts, my king and my God. R/.

Blessed are they who dwell in your house,
forever singing your praise.
Blessed is the man whose strength is in you,
whose heart is set on pilgrim ways. R/.

For the Lord God is a sun, a shield;
the Loan will give us his favour and glory.
He will not withhold any good
to those who walk without blame. R/.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
John 17:17ba

Alleluia.

Your word, O Lord is truth; sanctify us in the truth.

Alleluia.

GOSPEL
“Can a blind man lead a blind man?”
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke (Luke 6:39-42)

At that time: Jesus told his disciples a parable: “Can a blind man lead a blind man? Will they not both fall into a pit? A disciple is not above his teacher, but every one when he is fully taught will be like his teacher. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me take out the speck that is in your eye,’ when you yourself do not see the log that is in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take out the speck that is in your brother’s eye.”

The Gospel of the Lord.

RECOLLECTION WITH OUR ADORABLE JESUS

Divine Appeal Reflection  - 124

Today, consider in Divine Appeal 124: "Make silence reign in your innermost being. Bring Me souls. I am in search of love. I am thirsting for souls.”

The practice of frequent recollection becomes a divine imperative in answering this call. It is the sacred silence of the heart that allows us to hear the whisper of His love, to experience the burning desire of His Eucharistic Heart for souls. In a world that clamors for our attention, recollection is the key to entering into that inner sanctuary where our Adorable Jesus, fully present in the Blessed Sacrament, waits for us. In the sacred space of holy silence, we become more fully aware of His real presence within us, inviting Him to reign as our King and Redeemer. This profound reality, as we are reminded by the teachings of Scripture, reveals that we are the dwelling place of God’s Spirit (cf. 1 Cor 3:16). The indwelling of Christ is not merely a passive truth but a living and active reality. It calls us to a deeper recollection so that Christ's reign within our hearts may bear abundant fruit in our lives and in the world.

As St. Teresa of Ávila teaches, recollection is the gathering of the soul into the awareness of God’s presence. It is in this intimate union that we begin to feel the urgency of His call—to bring Him souls, to make reparation for the sins that wound His Eucharistic Heart, and to labor for the salvation of those far from His grace. Yet, in this moment, Jesus invites us to a deeper level—to recollect not only for our own sanctification but to unite our hearts with His own burning desire for souls. Our Lord thirsts for souls, and in the silence of recollection, He places within our hearts this same thirst.

Frequent recollection, therefore, is not a mere practice; it is a way of bringing Jesus souls. It allows His love to overflow from within us, transforming every action into an act of intercession and reparation. Each moment spent in silence with Him is a moment of grace, a moment where His thirst for souls can be quenched through our loving union with His will. As we draw closer to His Eucharistic Heart, our lives become a living prayer, an unceasing offering for the salvation of souls, echoing His Divine Appeal: “I am in search of love. I am thirsting for souls.”

Let us heed this call and live in constant recollection, creating an interior silence where Jesus will reign supreme, and through our union with Him, may countless souls be brought to His Heart.

Prayer

O Adorable Jesus, fill our hearts with Your divine presence and peace. Grant us the grace to seek You always in silence and love. Help us to grow in deeper union with You, and may we bring souls to the infinite mercy of Your Eucharistic Heart.

HOLY MASS READINGS FOR SEPTEMBER 12, 2024

Thursday of  the Twenty Third Week in Ordinary Weekday  (Green)

LH: Office of the Day, Week III

Mass and Preface of the day

 FIRST READING
“Are you bound to a wife? Do not seek to be free. Are you free from a wife? Do not seek marriage.”
A reading from the first Letter of Saint Paul to the Corinthians (1 Corinthians 7:25-31)

Brethren: Now concerning the unmarried, I have no command of the Lord, but I give my opinion as one who by the Lord’s mercy is trustworthy. I think that in view of the impending distress it is well for a person to remain as he is. Are you bound to a wife? Do not seek to be free. Are you free from a wife? Do not seek marriage. But if you marry, you do not sin, and if a girl marries she does not sin. Yet those who marry will have worldly troubles, and I would spare you that. I mean, brethren, the appointed time has grown very short; from now on, let those who have wives live as though they had none, and those who mourn as though they were not mourning, and those who rejoice as though they were not rejoicing, and those who buy as though they had no goods, and those who deal with the world as though they had no dealings with it. For the form of this world is passing away.

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
Psalm 45: 11-12.14-15. 16-17 (R. 11a)

R/. Listen, O daughter; pay heed and give ear.

Listen, O daughter; pay heed and give ear:
forget your own people and your father’s house.
So will the king desire your beauty.
He is your lord, pay homage to him. R/.

The daughter of the king is clothed with splendour;
her robes are threaded with gold.
In fine clothing she is led to the king;
behind her are her maiden companions, brought to you. R/.

They are escorted amid gladness and joy;
they pass within the palace of the king.
Sons will be yours to succeed your fathers;
you will make them rulers over all the earth. R/.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
Luke 6:23ab

Alleluia.

Rejoice and leap for joy, says the Lord, for behold, your reward is great in heaven.

Alleluia.

GOSPEL
“Blessed are you poor. Woe to you that are rich.”
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke (Luke 6:20-26)

At that time: Jesus lifted up his eyes on his disciples and said: “Blessed are you poor, for yours is the kingdom of God. “Blessed are you that hunger now, for you shall be satisfied. “Blessed are you that weep now, for you shall laugh. “Blessed are you when men hate you, and when they exclude you and revile you, and cast out your name as evil, on account of the Son of man! Rejoice in that day, and leap for joy, for behold, your reward is great in heaven; for so their fathers did to the prophets. “But woe to you that are rich, for you have received your consolation. “Woe to you that are full now, for you shall hunger. “Woe to you that laugh now, for you shall mourn and weep. “Woe to you, when all men speak well of you, for so their fathers did to the false prophets."

DIVINE APPEAL 124

ON THE EUCHARIST:A DIVINE APPEAL

(Revelation to Sr Anna Ali of the Most Holy Eucharist)

VOLUME 1

“I make Myself visible for the sake of souls.” “In the Sacrament of
My Love I am so lonely and abused.” “I love mankind.” “I call all
not to stop by the wayside.”

“Day and night I wait for souls.”

“My daughter, watch with Me in this dark hour. Here is My mercy in
the prison of My tabernacle. Pray a great deal and bring Me souls before
it is too late. For the sake of souls I do not hide Myself. In the Sacrament
of My Love I am so lonely and abused. I need you to repair and dress
My wounds.

I love mankind. I am in agony to see souls falling and on the way to
perdition. I need them to know that I am the source from which My
Love flows inexhaustibly with abundance; this is a serious moment.
I call all not to stop by the wayside. I want to reign over souls. What
a pain to Me that there are among those souls consecrated to Me who
do not believe in My Presence in the Church and yet they say they
give Me all they have.”

I give My warnings to mankind. I need them to know that in the
Sacrament of My Love I am All Love. I cannot cease communications
to My creatures which is love for souls. I have made Myself depend
upon mankind. I dwell in the tabernacle... My Real Presence. Listen
to Me. Make silence reign in your innermost being. Bring Me souls.
I am in search of love. I am thirsting for souls.

Mankind has lost all its sense. Day and night I wait for souls. You
are suffering because you are a victim. Do suffer to gain souls for
Me. Keep Me in light. Do not leave Me alone. Pray a great deal.
The devil is destroying all of humanity and the calamity of evil
envelopes them.”

HOLY MASS READINGS FOR SEPTEMBER 11, 2024

Wednesday of  the Twenty Third Week in Ordinary Weekday  (Green)

The daughter of the king is clothed with splendour;
her robes are threaded with gold.
In fine clothing she is led to the king;
behind her are her maiden companions, brought to you. R/.

They are escorted amid gladness and joy;
they pass within the palace of the king.
Sons will be yours to succeed your fathers;
you will make them rulers over all the earth.

“Woe to you, when all men speak well of you, for so their fathers did to the false prophets.”

HOLY MASS READINGS FOR SEPTEMBER 10, 2024

Tuesday of  the Twenty Third Week in Ordinary Weekday  (Green)

LH: Office of the Day, Week III

Mass and Preface of the day

FIRST READING
“Brother goes to law against brother, and that before unbelievers.”
A reading from the first Letter of Saint Paul to the Corinthians (1 Corinthians 6: 1- 11)

Brethren: When one of you has a grievance against a brother, does he dare go to law before the unrighteous instead of the saints? Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is to be judged by you, are you incompetent to try trivial cases? Do you not know that we are to judge angels? How much more, matters pertaining to this life! If then you have such cases, why do you lay them before those who are least esteemed by the Church? I say this to your shame. Can it be that there is no man among you wise enough to decide between members of the brotherhood, but brother goes to law against brother, and that before unbelievers? To have lawsuits at all with one another is defeat for you. Why not rather suffer wrong? Why not rather be defrauded? But you yourselves wrong and defraud, and that even your own brethren. Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither the immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor robbers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were, some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
Psalm 149: 1b-2.3-4.5-rna and 9b (R. 4a)

R/. The Lord takes delight in his people.

Sing a new song to the Lord,
his praise in the assembly of the faithful.
Let Israel rejoice in its Maker;
let Sion’s children exult in their king. R/.

Let them praise his name with dancing,
and make music with timbrel and harp.
For the Lord takes delight in his people;
he crowns the poor with salvation. R/.

Let the faithful exult in glory,
and rejoice as they take their rest.
Let the praise of God be in their mouths.
This is an honour for all his faithful. R/.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
John 15:16

Alleluia.

I chose you from the world that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should abide, says the Lord.

Alleluia.

GOSPEL
All night he continued in prayer. And he chose twelve, whom he named apostles.
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke (Luke 6:2-19)

It happened that in these days Jesus went out into the hills to pray; and all night he continued in prayer to God. And when it was day, he called his disciples, and chose from them twelve, whom he named apostles; Simon, whom he named Peter, and Andrew his brother, and James and John, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon who was called the Zealot, and Judas the son of James, and Judas Iscariot, who became a traitor. And he came down with them and stood on a level place, with a great crowd of his disciples and a great multitude of people from all Judea and Jerusalem and the seacoast of Tyre and Sidon, who came to hear him and to be healed of their diseases; and those who were troubled with unclean spirits were cured. And all the crowd sought to touch him, for power came forth from him and healed them all.

HOLY MASS READINGS FOR SEPTEMBER 9, 2024

Monday of  the Twenty Third Week in Ordinary Weekday  (Green)

Optional Memorial of St. Peter Claver, Priest     (White)

LH: Office of the Day or Memorial, Week III

Mass and Preface of the day or Memorial

FIRST READING
“Cleanse out the old leaven, for Christ, our paschal lamb, has been sacrificed.”
A reading from the first Letter of Saint Paul to the Corinthians (1 Corinthians 5 : 1-8)

Brethren: It is actually reported that there is immorality among you, and of a kind that is not found even among pagans; for a man is living with his father’s wife. And you are arrogant! Ought you not rather to mourn? Let him who has done this be removed from among you. For though absent in body I am present in spirit, and as if present, I have already pronounced judgement in the name of the Lord Jesus on the man who has done such a thing. When you are assembled, and my spirit is present, with the power of our Lord Jesus, you are to deliver this man to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens all the dough? Cleanse out the old leaven that you may be new dough, as you really are unleavened. For Christ, our Paschal Lamb, has been sacrificed. Let us, therefore, celebrate the festival, not with the old leaven, the leaven of malice and evil, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

The word of the Lord.

RESPON SORIAL PSALM
Ps5:5-6.7.12 (R. 9a)

R/. Lead me, Lord, in your justice.

You are no God who delights in evil;
no sinner is your guest.
The boastful shall not stand their ground
before your eyes. R/.

All who do evil you despise;
all who lie you destroy.
The deceitful and those who shed blood,
the Lord detests. R/.

All who take refuge in you shall be glad,
and ever cry out their joy.
You shelter them; in you they rejoice,
those who love your name. R/.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
John 10:27

Alleluia.

My sheep hear my voice, says the Lord; and I know them, and they follow me.

Alleluia.

GOSPEL
“They watched him to see if he would heal on the sabbath.”
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke (Luke 6:6- 11)

It happened that, on a sabbath, when Jesus entered the synagogue and taught, a man was there whose right hand was withered. And the scribes and the Pharisees watched him, to see whether he would heal on the sabbath, so that they might find an accusation against him. But he knew their thoughts, and he said to the man who had the withered hand, “Come and stand here.” And he rose and stood there. And Jesus said to them, “I ask you, is it lawful on the sabbath to do good or to do harm, to save life or to destroy it?” And he looked around on them all, and said to him, “Stretch out your hand.” And he did so, and his hand was restored. But they were filled with fury and discussed with one another what they might do to Jesus.

EMBRACED BY THE LOVE OF JESUS

Divine Appeal Reflection  - 123

Today, consider in Divine Appeal 123: "I well know that you feel unworthy. Do not feel that. Never mind"

When we approach the Blessed Sacrament, feelings of unworthiness can arise, making us hesitant before Jesus' real presence in the tabernacle or monstrance. However, our Adorable Jesus invites us to come as we are, with all our weaknesses. He reminds us that His love shines the brightest in our humility, saying, “Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest” (cf. Matthew 11:28). He seeks not perfection but hearts willing to be healed and transformed by His grace. In the stillness of adoration, Jesus beckons us towards Himself, and sends His blessing on our modest attempts to come near Him. Every visit to the Blessed Sacrament is an act of faith in which we permit Him to fortify our trek towards sanctity (holiness). He yearns to heal our shattered selves with love and bestow upon us peace beyond all understanding.

Sr. Anna Ali, exemplifies this trust in His mercy. Jesus revealed to her His deep desire for souls to visit Him often in the Blessed Sacrament, assuring that He is waiting to heal and strengthen us, no matter our shortcomings. Through her life of profound love for the Eucharist, she shows us that acknowledging our unworthiness is the very key to receiving His transformative grace. Frequent visits to the Blessed Sacrament allow us to be embraced by Jesus' boundless love. Even in moments of brokenness, He delights in our desire to love Him. He reassures us, “Do not feel that. Never mind,” reminding us that His mercy will always surpass our failures.

Confidently let us answer His call by creating time for frequent adoration. We are invited to come to Jesus, who is always present in the Blessed Sacrament, where we will receive solace, healing, and the fortitude to carry on our journey toward holiness. By trusting in His mercy, as Sr. Anna Ali did, we open ourselves to His healing and transforming grace.

Prayer

Our adorable Jesus, present in the Blessed Sacrament, we come to You with all our weaknesses and unworthiness. Embrace us with Your healing love and transform our hearts. Help us to trust in Your infinite mercy and to visit You often, finding rest, strength, and peace in Your sacred presence.

DIVINE APPEAL 123

ON THE EUCHARIST:A DIVINE APPEAL

(Revelation to Sr Anna Ali of the Most Holy Eucharist)

VOLUME 1

“Time is short.”

“I well know that you feel unworthy. Do not feel that. Never mind.
Let Me speak to you and pour out all that I feel. In the Sacrament
of My Love give Me company.

Continue to pray. Time is short for saving souls. I need souls to
make amends. My great love for souls keeps Me a prisoner in the
tabernacle. As I am exposed I will pour the treasures of My
infinite mercy in the hearts of human souls.

I am thirsting for souls. Bring Me souls in your prayers. Bending
over the world I pour My tears of blood and see souls falling into
perdition every minute. I do not wish anyone to perish. I love
mankind.”

“I give My blessing.”

HOLY MASS READINGS FOR SEPTEMBER 8, 2024

Twenty Third Sunday in Ordinary Time, Year B   (Green)

Mass of the Twenty Third Sunday in Ordinary Time

LH: Office of the Twenty Third Sunday, Week III

Gloria, Creed, Preface of Sundays in Ordinary Time

FIRST READING
“Then the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped, and the tongue of the mute sing for joy.”
A reading from the Book of Isaiah (Isaiah 35:4-7a)

Say to those who are of a fearful heart, “Be strong, fear not! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God. He will come and save you.” Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf unstopped; then shall the lame man leap like a deer, and the tongue of the mute sing for joy. For waters shall break forth in the wilderness, and streams in the desert; the burning sand shall become a pool, and the thirsty ground springs of water.

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
Psalm 146:6c-7.8-9a.9bc-10ab (R. 1b)

R/. Come, Lord, and save us.

It is the Lord who preserves fidelity forever,
Who does justice to those who are oppressed.
It is he who gives bread to the hungry,
The Lord who sets prisoners free. R/.

It is the Lord who opens the eyes of the blind,
The Lord who raises up those who are bowed down.
It is the Lord who loves the just,
The Lord who protects the stranger. R/.

The Lord upholds the orphan and the widow,
but thwarts the path of the wicked.
The Lord will reign forever,
the God of Sion from age to age. R/.

SECOND READING
“Has not God chosen those who are poor in the world to be heirs of the kingdom?”
A reading from the Letter of Saint James (James 2: 1-5)

My brethren, show no partiality as you hold the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory. For if a man with gold rings and in fine clothing comes into your assembly, and a poor man in shabby clothing also comes in, and you pay attention to the one who wears the fine clothing and say, “Have a seat here, please,” while you say to the poor man, “Stand there,” or, “Sit at my feet,” have you not made distinctions among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts? Listen, my beloved brethren. Has not God chosen those who are poor in the world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which he has promised to those who love him?

The word of the Lord.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
Matthew 4:23

Alleluia.

Jesus was preaching the Gospel of the kingdom, healing every disease and every infirmity among the people.

Alleluia.

GOSPEL
“He makes the deaf hear and the mute speak.”
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Mark (Mark 7:31-37)

At that time: Jesus returned from the region of Tyre, and went through Sidon to the Sea of Galilee, through the region of the Decapolis. And they brought to him a man who was deaf and had an impediment in his speech; and they begged him to lay his hand upon him. And taking him aside from the multitude privately, he put his fingers into his ears, and he spat and touched his tongue; and looking up to heaven, he sighed, and said to him, “Ephphatha,” that is, “Be opened.” And his ears were opened, his tongue was released, and he spoke plainly. And he charged them to tell no one; but the more he charged them, the more zealously they proclaimed it. And they were astonished beyond measure, saying, “He has done all things well; he even makes the deaf hear and the mute speak.”

HOLY MASS READINGS FOR SEPTEMBER 7, 2024

Optional Memorial of the Blessed Virgin Mary   (White)

LH: Office of the Day or of the Memorial, Week II

Morning Mass and Preface of the day or BVM

FIRST READING
“We hunger and thirst, we are poorly clothed.”
A reading from the first Letter of Saint Paul to the Corinthians (1 Corinthians 4:6b-15)

Brethren: May you learn by me and Apollos not to go beyond what is written, that none of you may be puffed up in favour of one against another. For who sees anything different in you? What have you that you did not receive? If then you received it, why do you boast as if it were not a gift? Already you are filled! Already you have become rich! Without us you have become kings! And would that you did reign, so that we might share the rule with you! For I think that God has exhibited us apostles as last of all, like men sentenced to death; because we have become a spectacle to the world, to angels and to men. We are fools for Christ’s sake, but you are wise in Christ. We are weak, but you are strong. You are held in honour, but we in disrepute. To the present hour we hunger and thirst, we are poorly clothed and buffeted and homeless, and we labour, working with our own hands. When reviled, we bless; when persecuted, we endure; when slandered, we try to conciliate; we have become, and are now, as the refuse of the world, the dregs of all things. I do not write this to make you ashamed, but to admonish you as my beloved children. For though you have countless guides in Christ, you do not have many fathers. For I became your father in Christ Jesus through the gospel.

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
Psalm, 145: 17-15.19-20.2 I (R. I Sa)

R/. The Lord is close to all who call him.

The Lord is just in all his ways,
and holy in all his deeds.
The Lord is close to all who call him,
who call on him in truth. R/.

He fulfils the desires of those who fear him;
he hears their cry and he saves them.
The Loan keeps watch over all who love him;
the wicked he will utterly destroy. R/.

Let my mouth speak the praise of the Lord;
let all flesh bless his holy name forever,
for ages unending. R/.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
John14:6

Alleluia.

I am the way, and the truth, and the life, says the Lord; no one comes to the Father, but by me.

Alleluia.

GOSPEL
“Why are you doing what is not lawful to do on the Sabbath.”
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke (Luke 6:1-5)

On a sabbath, While Jesus was going through the grain fields, his disciples plucked and ate some heads of grain, rubbing them in their hands. But some of the Pharisees said, “Why are you doing what is not lawful to do on the sabbath?” And Jesus answered, “Have you not read what David did when he was hungry, he and those who were with him: how he entered the house of God, and took and ate the show bread, which it is not lawful for any but the priests to eat, and also gave it to those with him?” And he said to them, “The Son of man is lord of the sabbath.”

The Gospel of the Lord.

THE UNCHANGING LOVE OF JESUS

 Divine Appeal Reflection  - 122

Today, consider in Divine Appeal 122:  "My love is unalterable and will endure to the end of time with the same tenderness and predilection."

The pinnacle of our Adorable Jesus' unending zeal for souls is revealed in the Most Blessed Sacrament, where He demonstrates His incomprehensible love. This same love, veiled in the Sacred Host, is the sacrificial love that led Him to Calvary. As our Divine Bridegroom, Jesus dwells in every Tabernacle, desiring our sanctification and salvation. Our Lord’s proclamation, that His love for us mirrors the Father’s love for Him, remains an ever-present invitation to find solace in His infinite affection (Jn 15:9). In the Holy Eucharist, He fulfills His sacred promise to remain with us until the end of time (Mt 28:20).

In the sublime humility in the Most Blessed Sacrament, Jesus offers His Real Presence, tender, merciful, and profound just as when He walked upon this earth, continuing to pour out His love and grace upon us. Each encounter in Eucharistic Adoration or Holy Communion draws us deeper into the mystery of His divine love. His Sacred Heart, aflame with love and mercy, seeks to heal, unite, and sanctify us. The Eucharist is a continual call to live in prayer, repentance, and thanksgiving. We join the Church in offering reparation and atonement for transgressions against His love by responding with complete submission and faith. We therefore live out the words of the Psalmist (Psalm 34:1), “I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall be always in my mouth,” by remaining in Jesus' gentle love continually.

Through the example of Sr. Anna Ali, may we live with hearts full of humility and trust, always abiding in the infinite tenderness of our Adorable Jesus, who loves us with an unfathomable and unalterable love. Let us draw near to His Eucharistic presence, offering our prayers in reparation for the many offenses committed against Him. May His unwavering love give us courage so that we can let it change our hearts and bring us closer to Himself. As Sr. Anna responded to His call, may we also surrender our lives, trusting in His boundless mercy and fidelity.

Prayer

Our Adorable Jesus, hidden in the Most Blessed Sacrament, we humbly adore Your enduring love. Fill our hearts with trust in Your infinite mercy and draw us ever nearer to Your Sacred Heart. Help us to offer reparation for all offenses and to remain faithful in Your love.

Sr. Anna Ali of the Most Holy Eucharist, intercede for us.

HOLY MASS READINGS FOR SEPTEMBER 6, 2024

Friday of  the Twenty Second Week in Ordinary Weekday  (Green)

LH: Office of the Day, Week II

Mass and Preface of the day

FIRST READING
“The Lord will disclose the purposes of the heart.”
A reading from the first Letter of Saint Paul to the Corinthians (1 Corinthians 4: 1-5)

Brethren: This is how one should regard us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover it is required of stewards that they be found trustworthy. But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you or by any human court. I do not even judge myself. I am not aware of anything against myself, but I am not thereby acquitted. It is the Lord who judges rue. Therefore do not pronounce judgement before the time, before the Lord comes, who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. Then every man will receive his commendation from God.

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
Psalm 37:3-4.5-6.27-26.39-40 (R. 39a)

R/. From the Lord comes the salvation of the just.

Trust in the Lord and do good;
then you will dwell in the land
and safely pasture.
Find your delight in the Lord,
who grants your heart’s desire. R/.

Commit your way to the Lord;
trust in him, and he will act,
and make your uprightness shine like the light,
the justice of your cause like the noon-day sun. R/.

Then turn away from evil and do good,
and you may abide forever; for indeed,
the Lord loves justice,
and will never forsake his faithful.
The unjust shall be wiped out forever,
and the descendants of the wicked destroyed. R/.

But from the Lord comes the salvation of the just,
their stronghold in time of distress.
The Lord helps them and rescues them,
rescues and saves them from the wicked:
because they take refuge in hint. R/.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
John 8:12

Alleluia.

I am the light of the world, says the Lord; he who follows me will have the light of life.

Alleluia.

GOSPEL
“When the bridegroom is taken from them, then they will fast.”
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke (Luke 5:33-39)

At that time: The Pharisees and the scribes said to Jesus, “The disciples of John fast often and offer prayers, and so do the disciples of the Pharisees, but yours eat and drink.” And Jesus said to them, “Can you make wedding guests fast while the bridegroom is with them? The days will come, when the bridegroom is taken away from them, and then they will fast in those days.” He told them a parable also: “No one tears a piece from a new garment and puts it upon an old garment; if he does, he will tear the new, and the piece from the new will not match the old. And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; if he does, the new wine will burst the skins and it will be spilled, and the skins will be destroyed. But new wine must be put into fresh wineskins. And no one after drinking old wine desires new; for he says, ‘The old is good. ”’

DIVINE APPEAL 122

ON THE EUCHARIST:A DIVINE APPEAL

(Revelation to Sr Anna Ali of the Most Holy Eucharist)

VOLUME 1

“My love is unalterable.”

“My daughter, pray a great deal and cloister souls in your heart. I
grieve at many of the consecrated souls who always leave Me
deserted in My prison. The infidelity wounds Me deeply. They cause
Me to remain long lonely hours. The souls I love so much do not
understand My Real Presence in their midst. I come here seeking shelter.

My love is unalterable and will endure to the end of time with the
same tenderness and predilection. Pray a great deal. You are a victim
in the Sacrament of My Love.”

“I bless you.”

HOLY MASS READINGS FOR SEPTEMBER 5, 2024

Thursday of  the Twenty Second Week in Ordinary Weekday  (Green)

LH: Office of the Day, Week II

Mass and Preface of the day

FIRST READING
“All are yours,’ and you are Christ’s, and Christ is God’s. ”
A reading from the first Letter of Saint Paul to the Corinthians (I Corinthians 3:18-23)

Brethren: Let no one deceive himself. If any one among you thinks that he is wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is folly with God. For it is written, “He catches the wise in their craftiness,” and again, “The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are futile.” So let no one boast of men. For all things are yours, whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future, all are yours; and you are Christ’s and Christ is God’s.

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
Psalm 24: 1 -2.3-4ab.5-6 (R. 1ab)

R/. The Lord’s is the earth and its fullness.

The Lord’s is the earth and its fullness,
the world, and all who dwell in it.
It is he who set it on the seas;
on the rivers he made it firm. R/.

Who shall climb the mountain of the Lord?
Who shall stand in his holy place?
The clean of hands and pure of heart,
whose soul is not set on vain things. R/.

Blessings from the Lord shall he receive,
and right reward from the God who saves him.
Such are the people who seek him,
who seek the face of the God of Jacob. R/.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
Matthew 4:19

Alleluia.

Follow me, says the Lord, and I will make you fishers of men.

Alleluia.

GOSPEL
”They left everything and followed him. ”
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke (Luke 5: 1-11)

At that time: While the people pressed upon Jesus to hear the word of God, he was standing by the lake of Gennesaret. And he saw two boats by the lake; but the fishermen had gone out of them and were washing their nets. Getting into one of the boats, which was Simon’s, he asked him to put out a little from the land. And he sat down and taught the people from the boat. And when he had ceased speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.” And Simon answered, “Master, we toiled all night and took nothing! But at your word I will let down the nets.” And when they had done this, they enclosed a great shoal of fish; and as their nets were breaking, they beckoned to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink. But when Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord.” For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the catch of fish which they had taken; and so also were James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, “Do not be afraid; henceforth you will be catching men.” And when they had brought their boats to land, they left everything and followed him.

THE SACREDNESS OF THE HOLY HOUR

 Divine Appeal Reflection  - 121

Today, consider in Divine Appeal 121: " ... pray a great deal and spend this hour with Me. With  your prayers restore light to souls."

The Holy Hour, a cherished tradition of the Catholic Church, is entrenched in the mystery of Christ’s Agony in the Garden of Gethsemane. In a moment that forever changed the history of mankind, our Lord asked His disciples, “So you could not keep watch with me for one hour?” (Matthew 26:40). This was an invitation for all souls to join Him in His Passion. This hour is not just about praying, but it is more about love, suffering along with Christ, and making amends for sins committed by the world. We are called during this time to forget ourselves from ordinary life uncertainties and give space for grace from our Adorable Jesus to enter and change us.

To spend the Holy Hour in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament is to immerse oneself in the very heart of the Eucharistic mystery. The Eucharist is not merely a symbol but the true and substantial Presence of our Adorable Jesus; His Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity. When we adore the Blessed Sacrament, we do more than offer prayers to a distant God; we gaze upon the living God, truly present before us in the tabernacle or exposed in the monstrance. This sacred encounter draws us ever closer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, enabling us to listen to His voice, converse with Him intimately, and offer Him the homage of our love and adoration.

With the utmost intensity, our Lord’s request to “restore light to souls” during this hour calls our attention in the most forceful manner as a course of action because we are His disciples. Our prayers joined with that of Christ on the altar become vessels of grace, healing, and conversion for souls engulfed by darkness. Hence, this Holy Hour is not simply a time for personal sanctification; it is an expression of intense love for the whole Mystical Body of Christ, especially sinners. When we spend this sacred period daily with our Adorable Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, we let Him change us through His grace so that our hearts may imitate His heart more and more closely.

May our Adorable Jesus, who revealed His infinite love and mercy to Sister Anna Ali, draw us ever closer to His Eucharistic presence through the faithful practice of the Holy Hour. As we respond to His call to "restore light to souls," may we become radiant beacons of His divine light, bringing His peace and love into our homes, workplaces, and communities. In this sacred commitment, let us strive to be true instruments of His grace, allowing His transforming presence to permeate every aspect of our lives, and thereby fulfill the mission entrusted to us by our Lord, in union with the prayers and example of Sister Anna Ali.

Prayer:

Our adorable Jesus, help us to give you priority in our busy daily schedules. May we cherish the Holy Hour, allowing your grace to transform our hearts. Unite our prayers with your sacrifice and bring light to souls in darkness. Guide us to reflect your love and compassion to the world.

DIVINE APPEAL 121

ON THE EUCHARIST:A DIVINE APPEAL

(Revelation to Sr Anna Ali of the Most Holy Eucharist)

VOLUME 1

“If only souls would repent, I would shelter them with My Mercy.”

“My daughter, pray a great deal and spend this hour with Me. With
your prayers restore light to souls. I am thirsty for souls. I want you
to make reparation for the pains I receive in the Sacrament of My
Love. If only souls would repent, I would shelter them with My
Mercy. I am wounded mostly by consecrated souls. I remain in
the prison of My tabernacle. I order you to pray a great deal. You
are a victim soul. Do not fear to suffer.

This is a tragic time. The spirits are plunging deeper into darkness.
I shed tears of blood over humanity. Pray and draw graces for the
lost souls. I do not wish anyone to perish. I love mankind. This is
the time for My Divine Mercy. I call every soul into the ocean of
My mercy.”

“I bless you.”

HOLY MASS READINGS FOR SEPTEMBER 4, 2024

Wednesday of  the Twenty Second Week in Ordinary Weekday  (Green)

LH: Office of the Day, Week II

Mass and Preface of the day

FIRST READING
“We are God’s fellow workers,’ you are God’s field, God’s building.”
A reading from the first Letter of Saint Paul to the Corinthians (1 Corinthians 3: 1-9)

Brethren, I could not address you as spiritual men, but as men of the flesh, as infants in Christ. I fed you with milk, not solid food; for you were not ready for it; and even yet you are not ready, for you are still of the flesh. For while there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not of the flesh, and behaving like ordinary men? For when one says, “I belong to Paul,” and another, “I belong to Apollos,” are you not merely men? What then is Apollos? What is Paul? Servants through whom you believed, as the Lord assigned to each. I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth. He who plants and he who waters are equal, and each shall receive his wages according to his labour. For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, God’s building.

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
Psalm33: 12-13.14-15.20-21 (R. 12b)

R/. Blessed the people the Lord has chosen for his heritage.

Blessed the nation whose God is the Lord,
the people he has chosen as his heritage.
From the heavens the Lord looks forth;
he sees all the children of men. R/.

From the place where he dwells he gazes
on all the dwellers on the earth,
he who shapes the hearts of them all,
and considers all their deeds. R/.

Our soul is waiting for the Lord.
He is our help and our shield.
In him do our hearts find joy.
We trust in his holy name. R/.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
Luke 4: 18

Alleluia.

The Lord has sent me to preach good news to the poor, to proclaim release to the captives.

Alleluia.

GOSPEL
“I must preach the good news to the other cities also, for I was sent for this purpose.”
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke (Luke 4:38-44)

At that time: Jesus arose and left the synagogue, and entered Simon’s house. Now Simon’s mother-in-law was ill with a high fever, and they asked him about her. And he stood over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her; and immediately she rose and served them. Now when the sun was setting, all those who had any that were sick with various diseases brought them to him; and he laid his hands on every one of them and healed them. And demons also came out of many, crying, “You are the Son of God!” But he rebuked them, and would not allow them to speak, because they knew that he was the Christ. And when it was day he departed and went into a lonely place. And the people sought him and came to him, and would have kept him from leaving them; but he said to them, “I must preach the good news of the kingdom of God to the other cities also; for I was sent for this purpose.” And he was preaching in the synagogues of Judea.

HOLY MASS READINGS FOR SEPTEMBER 3, 2024

Tuesday of the Twenty Second Week in Ordinary Weekday (White)

Memorial of St. Gregory the Great

LH: Office of the Memorial, Week II

Mass and Preface of the Memorial

FIRST READING
“The unspiritual man does not receive the gifts of the Spirit of God; the spiritual man judges all things.”
A reading from the Letters of Saint Paul to the Corinthians (1 Corinthians 2:10b-16)

Brethren: The Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. For what person knows a man’s thoughts except the spirit of the man which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God, that we might understand the gifts bestowed on us by God. And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who possess the Spirit. The unspiritual man does not receive the gifts of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned. The spiritual man judges all things, but is himself to be judged by no one. “For who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ.

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
Psalm 145:8-9.10- 1l .12-13ab.13cd-14 (R. 17a)

R/. The Lord is just in all his ways.

The Lord is kind and full of compassion,
slow to anger, abounding in mercy.
How good is the Lord to all,
compassionate to all his creatures. R/.

All your works shall thank you,
O Lord, and all your faithful ones bless you.
They shall speak of the glory of your reign,
and declare your mighty deeds. R/.

They shall make known your might to the children of men,
and the glorious splendour of your reign.
Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom;
your rule endures for all generations. R/.

The Lord is faithful in all his words,
and holy in all his deeds.
The Lord supports all who fall,
and raises up all who are bowed down. R/.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
Luke 7: 15

Alleluia.

A great prophet has risen among us, and God has visited his people.

Alleluia.

GOSPEL
“I know who you are, the Holy One of God.”
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke (Luke 4:31-37)

At that time: Jesus went down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee. And he was teaching them on the Sabbath; and they were astonished at his teaching, for his word was with authority. And in the synagogue there was a man who had the spirit of an unclean demon; and he cried out with a loud voice, “Ah! What have you to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are, the Holy One of God.” But Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be silent, and come out of him!” And when the demon had thrown him down in their midst, he came out of him, having done him no harm. And they were all amazed and said to one another, “What is this word? For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out.” And reports of him went out into every place in the surrounding region.

EMBRACING THE LIGHT OF CHRIST

 Divine Appeal Reflection  - 120

Today, consider in Divine Appeal 120: "In My mercy souls will find the source of light. Heed My words for the good of souls. I am in search of souls."

In the midst of a world overshadowed by sin and despair, the radiant light of Our Adorable Jesus shines as a beacon of hope, a divine reality that offers true illumination to every soul lost in the darkness of this fallen world. The human condition, deeply wounded by the effects of original sin and the persistent allure of evil, often leads souls into a state of spiritual blindness. This darkness manifests itself in various forms; ignorance, fear, confusion, and moral decay, each of which distances souls from the infinite love and mercy of God.

Our Adorable Jesus, the "Light of the World" (John 8:12), offers a heartfelt invitation to everyone who is ready to leave this darkness and enter His amazing light. This light illuminates the hearts and thoughts of those who seek God sincerely; it is not only symbolic; rather, it is the essential essence of God's presence. It reveals the truth of our identity as children of God and the divine call to holiness, dispelling the falsehoods that so often ensnare us. In this light, the soul gains clarity, understanding its purpose in the grand design of God's providential plan, and is filled with the hope that springs from the promise of eternal life.

The boundless mercy of Our Adorable Jesus is the vessel through which this divine light is offered. It is a mercy that knows no limits, extending to every corner of the earth, reaching out to every soul, regardless of the depth of their darkness. The encounter with the mercy of Our Adorable Jesus is transformative, as it unveils the light of truth and divine love, which the world cannot provide. In this sacred encounter, the shadows of sin are dispelled, and the soul is guided on the path of righteousness, leading it back to the loving embrace of the Eternal Father.

Scripture bears witness to the light's universal reach, demonstrating that God's rescuing power is not beyond the grasp of people who "sit in darkness and in the shadow of death" (Luke 1:79). For those who turn to Our Adorable Jesus with repentant hearts, his light is the dawn that bursts through the darkness and offers salvation. In addition to illuminating the truth, this light purifies, erasing the residue of sin and filling the soul with the luminous light of God's sanctifying grace.

We are given the ability to defeat the darkness around us, withstand deceptive temptations, and live in the fullness of the truth that makes us free when we embrace the light of Our Adorable Jesus (John 8:32). Because it is the very light of God Himself, blazing in our hearts and guiding us to the fullness of His divine love and eternal glory, this light is the one that leads us to eternal life and will never be overpowered by the darkness (John 1:5)

Prayer

Adorable Jesus, Light of the World, shine Your merciful light into our hearts. Dispel the darkness of sin and guide us in Your truth. Fill our souls with Your love, leading us on the path of righteousness.

“My Heart bleeds. I do not want anyone to perish.”

HOLY MASS READINGS FOR SEPTEMBER 2, 2024

Monday of  the Twenty Second Week in Ordinary Weekday  (Green)

LH: Office of the Day, Week II

Mass and Preface of the day

FIRST READING
I proclaimed to you Christ crucified.
A reading from the first Letter of Saint Paul to the Corinthians (1 Corinthians 2:1-5)

When I came to you, brethren, I did not come proclaiming to you the testimony of God in lofty words or wisdom. For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. And I was with you in weakness and in much fear and trembling; and my speech and my message were not in plausible words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and power, that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.

The word of the Lord.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
Psalm 119:97.98.99.100.101. 102 (R. 97a)

R/. O Lord, how I love your law!

O Lord, how I love your law:
my meditation all the day! R/.

Your command makes me wiser than my foes,
for it is with me always. R/.

I have more insight than all who teach me,
for I ponder your decrees. R/.

I have gained more understanding than my elders,
for I keep your precepts. R/.

I keep my feet from every evil path,
to obey your word. R/.

I have not turned away from your decrees;
you yourself have taught me. R/.

GOSPEL ACCLAMATION
Luke 4:18

Alleluia.

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me; he has sent me to preach good news to the poor.

Alleluia.

GOSPEL
“He has sent me to preach good news to the poor. No prophet is acceptable in his own country. ”
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke (Luke 4:16-30)

At that time: Jesus came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up; and he went to the synagogue, as was his custom, on the sabbath day. And he stood up to read; and there was given to him the Book of the Prophet Isaiah. He opened the book and found the place where it was written, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” And he closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant, and sat down; and the eyes of all in the synagogue were fixed on him. And he began to say to them, “Today this Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing.” And all spoke well of him, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth; and they said, “Is not this Joseph’s son?” And he said to them, “Doubtless you will quote to me this proverb, ‘Physician, heal yourself; what we have heard you did at Capernaum, do here also in your own country.”’ And he said, “Truly, I say to you, no prophet is acceptable in his own country. But in truth, I tell you, there were many widows in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when there came a great famine over all the land; and Elijah was sent to none of them but only to Zarephath, in the land of Sidon to a woman who was a widow. And there were many lepers in Israel in the time of the prophet Elisha; and none of them was cleansed, but only Naaman the Syrian.” When they heard this, all in the synagogue were filled with wrath. And they rose up and put him out of the city, and led him to the brow of the hill on which their city was built, that they might throw him down headlong. But passing through the midst of them he went away.
