RESTORING THE SANCTITY OF CONSECRATED SOULS

Divine Appeal Reflection  - 105

Today, consider in Divine Appeal 105:  "Pray and restore light to souls, especially the consecrated ones... like Judas, betray My Heart and drag souls down to perdition to chase blindly after sinful love of money and illicit diversions."

This divine appeal highlights a sobering truth: people who have committed their life to serving Christ are not beyond the world's temptations. Money, vanity, and immoral diversions are powerful lures that can entice anyone—even our dear priests and consecrated souls—to turn them from their heavenly vocation and toward the darkness of evil. Even the most devout people can become corrupted by the constant chase of wealth, the sneaky seduction of vanities, and the pervasive impact of materialism.

Although serving God and His flock is their primary duty, they are also prone to straying from the holy trust that Christ has placed in them in favor of materialistic ambitions. Judas Iscariot's story serves as a poignant reminder of how easily even those closest to Jesus can succumb to these kinds of temptations. Similarly, some consecrated souls today can betray the heart of Jesus and fall prey to the same destructive emotions that lead others to hell. In this time of spiritual crisis, the faithful are called to a mission of paramount importance: to pray and restore light to these souls. Our prayers, offered daily alongside numerous sacrifices, are the most powerful assistance we can provide to our beloved priests and consecrated souls. Through our intercessions, we can help fortify them against the temptations of the world and bring them back to their divine purpose.

Holy Masses, Rosaries, Stations of the Cross, Divine Mercy Chaplets and other intercessory prayers are powerful tools to invoke God's grace and protection over them. Spending time in Eucharistic Adoration, offering prayers and sacrifices for the sanctification of priests and consecrated souls, is another potent practice. In the presence of the Blessed Sacrament, our intercessions gain immense spiritual strength. Embracing fasting and other forms of sacrifice as acts of love and penance for the purification and conversion of consecrated souls can bring about profound spiritual renewal. These acts of self-denial mirror the sacrifices made by Christ and can significantly impact the spiritual realm. Additionally, reaching out to them with words of encouragement and support can bolster their spirits. Giving them comfort knowing that they are not alone in their trials and that we are praying for them to persevere can be a great source of strength. Remembering to ask Our Heavenly Mother, Mary, for intercession in these endeavors is also important. Mary is the mother of all priests and consecrated souls. May she protect them from the temptations with her strong intercession.

With her intense dedication and passionate prayers, may Sr. Anna Ali provide a powerful intercession for our priests and consecrated souls. Through her prayers, may our beloved consecrated souls find the strength to resist the allure of money and vanities, remaining true to their sacred calling. Let Sr. Anna Ali’s intercession bring them closer to Our adorable Jesus, ensuring they fulfill their divine mission with renewed fervor and dedication.
